We’re officially in England and the ride is on! Day 11 saw us speed through Carlisle, thankful we missed out on that ridiculously priced Penrith hotel. We put the bike to the test, bombing some killer hills and even finding time to herd a few stray sheep. The reward? The friendliest campsite of the entire JOGLE so far! After yesterday’s travel day, this was a much-needed morale boost.

I’m actually so bloody tired. It’s insane. This is day 11 of cycling end to end UK edition. We’re finally in England after staying in a campsite place called Longtown. It was £20 for the campsite. Now that we’re in England, we have to be careful about wild camping cuz it’s illegal. You just have to do a thing called stealth camping. Wow. Road closed for 20 weeks. So you have to divert through I assume it’s like a power grid station. So we kind of went through Carlile. It’s a bit boring so I didn’t film any of it. And it’s been a bit of an uphill day today. It’s a better day than yesterday. It’s not following some sort of a road. We’re heading to Penri where Alex stayed last night. I don’t think we’ll be catching up with him anytime soon. I was still feeling pretty knackered today. I stopped off at Penri. I was trying to find myself a hotel because I was knackered. And I really just wanted another rest day and cut my day short. It’s the weekend so everything was super expensive and I tried to book a premier in but it was £200 and thank god I missed it and it was fully booked. I had no excuse and I had to camp. Holy steep. Look at these walls mate. God knows when they were bloody built. I mean, they’re protected, aren’t they? And they’re so sick. Come on. Come on, son. That one looks like a buddy. Little staff or something. Come on, doggy. Hello. Nearly there, eh? 30 mph. Jesus Christ. I cycled 83 km today all the way to a place called Auton where I stayed at a working farm which was a tenner and it was run by the most lovely people who charged my power pack overnight. Tomorrow we’re going to head to Preston.
