🖼️ The Louvre Museum in Paris is closed this Sunday following a break-in during which jewellery of “inestimable heritage value” was stolen, according to the French Ministry of the Interior.
👮 The Anti-Crime Brigade has been called in and an investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators and establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
💰🥷 Several French museums, including the one in Limoges and the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, have recently been targeted by burglaries and thefts, highlighting possible flaws in security and surveillance systems.

Two months ago I was there. The museum is huge and full of priceless items. The thieves must had a targeted jewelleries. I’ve noticed when I was in the museum that there was a lot of windows which is a major security gap
The buyer had the jewels by this afternoon. Nor was the crown left behind accidentally, it was symbolic and ironic as Napoleon said he found it in a ditch, so that's what they did, they ditched it. LOL! It was the epitome of sophisticated and well researched. The theft from thieves.
There are many copies in the Louvre Museum, and the originals have long been in the collections of wealthy people. Everything has been sold. Therefore, the cracked crown was thrown away when they realized that it was fake. They thought there would be an investigation to find the originals. Thank you…
