Okay, another day, another bike ride. Slightly different. I’m off to test a brand spanking new pump track. So, let’s go. Okay, so on the move again today. So, we’re on our way to just above Bur to test out a brand new pump track that’s being built currently by the guys from Dirt Factory and I believe Sam from Havoc Bike Park as well. Um, so we’re going down today going to get some clips of the new pump track being built. Gonna put some tires on it, test it out. So, let’s go along for the ride. Yo, [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] one of them here somewhere. It just jumped. They wanted a figure of eight. There you go. Look. Yeah. I can’t see anything wrong with that. But it’s good that they’ve actually got the little kids involved to see what they want. I want to know what design. Yeah. A little bit soft there. [Music] Nice [Music] carving into it but with the extra pump. Slide [Music] soft. [Music] So slow. [Music] So, just having a play on this first one while the lads are still building. Still very soft. Running very slow. Will be open soon and hardened up. I’m knackered just someone put X-ups over it. It’s running good though. Real fun. [Music] Hey everybody. [Music] So, where are we today, Dan? Uh, we’re here today at Somer Seat Island. We’re hopefully finishing off all our little bits today and then we’ve got a few days next week just to like polish up, hand over on Thursday, and then we should be open about a week after that. So maybe the first week into November. Um it all just depends on how it all dries out. But it’ll all be ridable within the next week or two and we’ll open anyway. But it might need till the summer to dry out and be rolling as fast as it possibly can. Yeah. And all the leaves come flying down like that. That looks cool. [Music] Yeah. Did you come up there? That’s just like over the spray a bit and you can hop in. I think you have more speed there that way and bring this up a little bit so you can like off into it. The lads here are absolutely sick. So, we’re getting a few laps just trying a few bits out while they’re still obviously working and finishing the track. As Dan said, it’ll be open soon. This video will be out a little bit before it’s open. So, check the dates that Dan just said. I’ll put them up on screen here for when it’s all open. But it’s a good fun spot. Really good fun. [Music] [Music] It is very soft in this gap. But I didn’t land on the back. I can’t actually see where I landed. So, this bit’s firm enough. [Music] Humptrin are the best of times when it’s soft and fresh. Even more knackering. We’re good to get some laps. Getting a few tricks done. Let’s see if we can try something out this very soft fly out burn, shall we? [Music] So, that pump track is really, really cool. I honestly can’t wait to get back when it’s fully opened. and had a bit of time to harden up and there’s loads of other riders there. Proper social scene, really, really well built. Massive shout out to the guys that invited me down, obviously from Dirt Factory, the guys that are building it with the help of Sam and his boys from Havoc. And obviously, massive, massive shout out to the local community in the council, because to get something like that sorted and organized and all done takes a lot of work. So, everyone that’s grafted to do it, your graft has paid off. It’s a super super cool track. I can’t wait to get back when it’s fully open. Hopefully that’ll be by November the 8th. Obviously, if I hear anything different, I’ll post it up on the channel and let you guys know. But I’m looking forward to getting back there for a ride myself.
