Morning guys. Welcome to rediscover to the world. We are back to guild wheel uh guild wheel walk. So today we are today we are uh uh you know we last time we completed uh 10 13 mi and now we are starting again. We are starting again today. uh you know from 13 mi today target is 2 and a half mile and from 13 mi to 2.5 mi. Uh so today target you know we are starting the walk from here at this point and our target you can see in this map where we are and showing 0 miles and we are starting from here and target will be you know uh 15.5 mi. So today we are going to cover pole 14 and and then pole 15. So there are two poles that we are going to cover in this walk. Uh and we’re par to correct and we are walking parallel to the to somewhere. So if you remember guys, last time we finished pole 13. So that was the pole 13. Last time we finished on pole 13. So we are starting from pole 13 and we will go up to 15 and 1/2 mile. So you will see two poles today in this walk and I will try to cover as much as I can you know the greenery for you. We got to leave. This is a cycling man. That’s a play area. play. That’s a cotton pond play area. You can see here for kids, they can come and play here. And there’s a phone. There’s a pond here. Let me show them. You see the ducks here? There are few decks there. 1 2 3 4 5. So there’s a pawn here and Gild will walk is this way. You can see I want to just show them. You can see the sign board here is showing guild walk on the left side. So we will be going in the to the left side. Yeah. So this is Tom Benson way. We are you can see this is Tom Manson way and we are walking along with the parallel with the Tom Benson way you can see cars coming from here Tom man we are walking it’s It’s a nice walk. Lot of clean. [Music] Yeah. [Music] Yeah. So, we hear a lot of houses in the backyard. [Music] [Music] Hi. Hello. [Music] So actually you see on our right side there are number of houses in the road and we are running exactly parall to the to manson amazing lot of traffic. So this side you have a Tom man left side and on your right side you have number of houses. And so they made a great little pathway in the middle. You can enjoy the green. You can enjoy the green right between the city and traffic. [Music] So there you can see the boat. Yeah. Ulan Sports area. Yeah. City center. Yeah. [Music] So I just want to show them [Music] see the board here across city center your left cotton hall on your right side. [Applause] Yeah. Yeah. [Applause] [Music] You can go around. Yeah. Yeah, 44 number back to uh railway station and [Music] So that’s called ancient oak pub. Very famous pub. And I got old pub here. Yeah. So if you are a big fan of if you are in Preston and if you want to enjoy dinner, Christmas dinner or Christmas lunch, you can come here in Ancient Dog Pub and they have started taking the bookings. It’s a nice pub. They have a car park here as well. attention. Okay. [Music] [Music] Yeah. There’s a nice cotton green. So this way you will do cotton green. So basically in from mile 13 to 15 and a half actually you will cover the entire cotm area which is a part of test and actually it’s the cotum is situated at the border of the test. Yeah blackpool is really close. Blackpool is very close and they land and 15 minutes away 10 15 minutes away. Yeah. Gwell street. Yeah. Gwell. Yeah. So the backyard of What’s this? These are the huge bungles. No, I’m just looking. These are all all bungalows. Yeah. You can’t you can’t say if they detach house. These are bungalows. They maintain their gardens also very Yeah. No more offshakes on the backyard. I don’t know what what those sheds are. Yeah. Yeah. Private road. So these are the five road access. Yeah. Got their own uh farmhouse. Yeah. Thanks. number of I think these are the number of build houses if you remember we come all the way from there. Yeah. Yeah. That’s the same road. Yeah. Yeah. I know. Yeah. Yeah. So if you cross the sandy lane and the holes lane you will reach exactly to the same co-op here. Number three house. That’s a beautiful house. Yeah. I think these are new build houses. Yeah, these are new build houses. I think we have been to this place many times. Yeah. Yeah, we have been here. Yeah. They’re not too far from the same walking distance. It’s really nice. You can just come over the house, go for a walk. Yeah. Yeah. Enjoy the greenery. Fresh air. You guys can see. I’m trying to cover as much as I can. Okay. Okay. Qu. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, co-op is on the right side and we are going straight. That’s so cool. on that. You can see co-op on that right side end of the road and there’s a Royal Mail as well on the right side. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. again. Yeah, here’s the co-op. You can see guys, there’s a co-op and we are going with this walk. Kid will walk. I mean today weather is very fresh. It looks like a rainy weather, but it’s not raining. It’s cloudy. It’s going to rain maybe after 2:00 or 3:00. Surprise, man. So on my left side number of houses you can see number of detach houses. Yeah. You know one thing is good about us when we are walking then we don’t think about anything else. We just keep walking and we never feel tired. The only time we forget everything. The only time we feel tired when we stop and sitting somewhere after a very long walk. But as long as we are walking, you know, we can keep walking. I don’t know how long we can keep walking. So the motor is keep walking. Yeah, motor is keep walking. Yeah. Show me straight. So on my left side there’s a kids play area. Kids can come and enjoy here. But today I’m not here to cover kids area. I will go and cover my good walk. But there’s a good play area here. Kids can come and enjoy. See the condition of this tree. So you have to be careful with the cyclist because sometimes cyclist are coming quite fast. Yeah. 14 miles. So guys, here is the 14 mile pole. So we have covered 14 miles. That means today target one mile is completed and another one mile is to go. So that is the 14 miles. You can see 14 miles and it’s showing seven more miles to go. Thanks guys. I was looking. Hello. I’m 7 miles. Yeah, seven more miles to go. Morning. So, we have seven miles to go. Let’s let’s just finish this. Okay. So, we have covered 14 miles and now we are going further. We have to go up this way. So you can see here’s the guild will walk and on my right side that’s the park for village. Ah, it looks to me this way or this way or this way. I think this is S man. We’re right. No, sorry. What? We’re going See these these all the new houses here. Correct. All the way we come from here and it’s all the new houses here. Yeah. watching. So, we’ll show you where we are in this exactly. How many miles we have covered? So, it’s less than seven miles to go. That’s it. Funny. This is a bit of a Yeah, that’s good for cycling. Yeah. So I want to show you where we are and probably you know I will share the map with you with you all that from which point we started and where we finish. Yeah it’s the record. Yeah, I just show them these are all the new blood new build houses. Yeah, I’m so glad that at least if we are lucky, you know, we can finish our remaining walk. Yeah. Yeah. If we are lucky, we can finish our walk. This here. Yeah. Yeah. These houses are lucky, you know. They are just next to the guild wheel. Yeah. Yeah. And from their window they don’t need to see any neighbor because from their window they can only see the greenery. Yeah. So that bridge I think that’s the canal beneath the bridge and canel is flowing. Yeah. So from this bridge you can see the Lancaster canal is is flowing from here and that is the another playlist you can see we have already started Lancaster canal lock but I can show you from this bridge this bridge you will see Lancaster Canel flowing from here. Nice smell. Yeah. I just want to show that you can see guys here this is you can see the board boat board standing there that’s Canada somebody’s cooking very nicely yeah so that’s the walk we have to follow cafe is on the right side okay Gildville city center in Oh, so there is a cafe on the right side. Okay. Okay. So, that’s the cafe. I missed the board. What was the name of the cafe? Final vessel cafe. Final vessel cafe. Okay. I think we have approaching Ukraine now. So this is a play area, practice area. Lot of kids are playing and practicing here. You can see lot of kids all practicing. There’s a tennis court. I came from the university area. This is Brooklyn University. Yeah, that’s the university area. Yeah. And that’s the Ukraine code and road. Okay. [Music] Yeah. So, now we’re crossing the UK. Well, 6 mile to go. That’s it. this way. Okay. That reminds me my college days. Yeah, you know, every stage has a a life that you have to enjoy. When you are in school, you enjoy your school days. When you’re in college, enjoy your college days. And when you become a adult, then you enjoy your four will walk. Yeah. It’s showing you the map is there. See this? Okay. We have to go there. Oh, the train bridge is going from there. No. Yes, we can cross there and then we can go from there. Yes, you’re right. I was taking a shortcut. [Music] So, actually we are the backyard of the tom mansion which is Ukraine Ukraine industry. That’s their ground kids football ground. This is a very big industry. Yeah, that’s a big university. 30,000 students studied here. Yeah, 30,000 students studied here. And you can see University of Sports Arena Uclan. Home of football group, PNFC Academy. Ah, feeling so good. Going for a walk. walk. Yeah. When you are driving, you never see the Yeah. Go around there. Yeah. Yeah. So, here is a guild will walk. You can see the 16 m. That’s the railway line. Yeah. Here’s the river. Do you want to make it? Do you know the reason for this cycle? Why this bicycle is on the top? I don’t know the reason. Why they keep the cycle here? It’s the guild wheel. Oh, because of wheel part of the guild wheel. Oh, is that? Yes. Yeah. So, sorry. That makes sense. That makes sense. Yeah. I was trying to understand why they keep the cycle there. Yeah, it’s a wheel. Wheel comes down from Yeah, we completed our almost 14 miles. 14 miles. So, six more mile to go. In one in one time. Not one time but on a weekend 3 four miles. So, we started in actually March 2025. All right. So, when we get time every time we go for a walk or three mile and then Yes. Where did you start? We started from that Evan. Evan Park. Oh, yes. So all the way coming around the back of forward. Yeah. Anticlockwise. So but it’s really a very different experience like exploring by foot. So you see you see quite so yeah the two project that we are doing you know that’s a personal one is the guild wheel and then second is Lancaster canal walk. Oh yeah you know 47 mile walk. We’ve done a lot of the canal some and you know I I found out you know you feel different you know you feel close to the nature bird noise and you feel oh my god you are in a forest area within city within traffic you don’t believe you’re still like in a quiet zone yes it’s really beautiful well we live near Ashton Park okay so we walk around Ashton Park and then through Savi come here go to the cafe and goong on the canal. Yeah, we lived close to the cot area. All right. Yeah. So, we come from the cart but we started the Aam park. We thought maybe we by next month complete the full gil wheel like in this. Let’s see. Weather permitting, right? Yeah. But when you’ve done that, you go up to Lancaster. There’s some nice walks up there. Canal. Yeah. Like is that can walk? You’re talking. Canal walks. Canal walk. Yeah. Yeah. The canal’s all to tarmac at Lancaster. So you could you could cycle along. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, but you know we we try to avoid cycling or car. We love keep walking because you know that I mean I found out very positive you know feel like we are really human. You know the we are very close to the nature you know when you keep walking. Yeah. And then we take our camera and we record our journey. Yeah. Maybe after few years we will look back and see like we will remember like yeah we did this walk. will probably like capture everything. Yeah, the stores. So, I’m on my 50. Another 10 years, another 15 years, maybe I will be retired and and probably I will be looking my own video. Yes, you might still be doing it. Yeah, that’s why we’re retired and we’re still doing it. So, yeah. Yeah. Nowadays, now in this world, you will hardly see a lot of happy faces and and I found out walking is the best exercise to keep your to get rid of your stress and be happy and make everyone happy. Yeah. Well, I’m nearly 70 now. So, yeah. So, it’s for you if you So, you’re the inspiration for me now. So, I need to be fit like you so that we can still enjoy our walks. Yes. There’s um Have you ever been to Glasson Duck and Cond? Oh, well yes. Now that’s on the way to Lancaster. And if you parked at um Glasson Dock is where the Lancaster Canal meets the sea, right? Is it near Mo Cam? That’s I’ve heard about it. Yeah, we seen our agenda. Yeah, it’s on our agenda. They seen our agenda. Yeah. Yeah. That’s quite a nice area. And then you can walk up from there uh up towards Lancaster and cut across and walk on the canal as far as you want up to Hes Bank if you want to walk that far. They did on a bike, but it’d be too far to walk, wouldn’t it? Yeah. But you get the gentle feel. You can do a big circular there where you can go along the canal and go all the way up to the north end of Morum which is Hbank and you can get down onto the Prominard and go all the way along the prominard all the way to Heam and back to Glas. Yeah. Yeah, that’s correct. Uh there’s if you get to Morham, there’s um the railway station. It’s a disused railway station, but it’s nearly on the front. Um and they have all the walks and all the things to do around Lancaster. There’s three free booklets in there. Yeah. And it does all the walks and all the cycle routes around Lancaster and that area. It’s well worth getting there. Yeah, that’s great. So that’s we can only we done the some wildlife walks you know the Brook holes brute holes area that the forest area and all those we done that project that was a very good experience. Yeah we always looking out for like more. Yeah, hopefully hopefully yeah, you can hopefully like canel walk would be the 47 mile walk would be the best one. I think that would like when we start like going the so like when we reach somewhere we just explore that area more to see the whole of that way. Are you going back that way? And you know you can’t enjoy when you’re driving and when even you’re cycling but when you’re walking Yes. You can really feel something different. Amazing. See if you go back that way. Yeah. You can walk through Larch’s estic estate and L’s estate and you can cut through to Rivers that the road that comes down where the car showrooms are. Oh, really? And it comes out right near the car showrooms where those traffic lights are. You can walk across there down the side of the car showrooms and walk along the river to Preston Docks. Oh, Preston Docks. Okay. Yeah. So, you can have a drink there as well. Oh yeah, the pub is there. Yeah, we have been there many times. Yeah, that’s a nice extension to this part that is close to the Ripple stream. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You could smell some nice food now near the final whistle cafe. Oh yes. Where where is this nice smell coming from? We’re going there now. We go there quite a lot of days. Yeah. Very nice smell. Start feeling hungry now. Right. Well, enjoy your time. Thank you. We’ll probably see you again walking around. Yeah, sure. Byebye. Cheers, guys. Bye. Yeah. So, here is the we have a railway line. That’s the Blackpool railway line. Okay. Walk. So, that’s the railway bridge. That railway line take you to the Blackpool. Where is this? Oh, here we go. You see the bridge? I have recorded that my camera was on from that bridge. We took that train. Last time I missed out but this time I got that train. So you have taken this train to go to. Yeah. It’s a different experience walking beneath. Yeah. We really had a nice conversation with this old couple and they have guided us. You know there are so many other places. More cami is the another one that we need to add in our list on our project list. Yeah. Yeah. The small water. Yeah. How are you? Hardly. We can see those. Morning. You can see all these leaves falling. Yeah, all these leaves are falling. Everywhere you find a sand The doggy loves you. [Laughter] Here is a sign. Guild will walk right side. [Music] No, it’s just correct to me. Yeah. Yeah, I can see on my map. Oh yeah, walk. What the suck? On the way to SC. Yeah. See this Gildwell. Yes. There’s the sign board. Gild will walk. Go straight. Another field. Here are the number of houses. Have we seen the second pole 15 mile? Yeah. Yeah. I don’t want to miss that second pole which is Yeah. Yeah. Heat. Yeah. Another Savic. Savic Brook. Savic Brook. Brook. Yeah, it’s a Savic Brook. These groups they are actually [Applause] Yes. It’s not I think the map was showing me going straight. Why we take it that way? Sorry. So map going straight. My map is showing this. Okay, let’s go this way then. This way. Okay. Yeah, I think that’s okay. Yeah, this one. That’s when we go straight. You see this? I’ve got two maps. So, this is the council map. So and correct when we were going we were going straight in this red line but now we taking a turn. Okay. Probably we will be reaching to the same place. See this road will also meeting there. Yeah. You see this? Yeah. So if we go straight and there and this go straight there both meeting at the same place. Yeah. So we walking parallel to this savage sometime but yeah we are walking but I don’t know whether we can get 15 pole here or somewhere else. Oh I can see a pole. I don’t know whether because if the root was there then the pole will be there. That’s the Savic Savic River, right? Savic Brook. Seavic Brook. Seavic Brook. Okay. Just be careful with the cycling. The cycling start coming. Yeah. That’s the dude. Yes, you were right. We are going in the right direction. That looks to me it’s cool here. Yeah, that is something. So much greenery, you know, for these local thousands of miles so far. We’ve got all this stuff. Yeah. So another residential area here and guild will walk here. So we are walking parallelly with the savic brook. Hey, so we have reached to number 15 pole. So you can see there we have covered 15. So this is our pole and let me take the picture of 15. So we covered over two something here. So this is the area you know the seic crook all this river come from here and these are the stoppers. So you can open that and the boat can go from here. Okay. These are the stoppers you know the blocker No swimming tension. Yeah, you can go for a walk from here as well when it’s broken. So, how many miles you have done walking? 6 miles. 7 miles. Yes. More than 5 and a half mile to walk. Morning. Morning. All right. Morning. So, just five more miles to go. Yeah. Yeah. Here’s the good board. Another 622. That board is telling us where we come from and how many miles we walked. Show me there. What is this? This is This is St. Peter and St. Paul Church. Yeah. Okay. So that is our half mile walk stop. Yeah. So we’re going to finish our walk today here. This is Cornelia Road. Gild you can see Gild city center by Canel 3 mile quarter 1 and a half mile distance. [Music] Okay guys, so we have covered today or 2 and 1/2 mile target. We started from 13 mi and we have covered almost 15 and 1/2 miles. I think we are done for today. Yeah, hopefully. Next time we’ll be starting from there. Next time we’ll be starting from here. Yeah, that point will lock. Yeah, that is the point we will be starting here. You can see the boat 622. Here is the road uh where we will be starting our walk. You can see the bus turn left right side and we starting here.
