Las Vegas -> L.A. Feedback Request

Hey folks. I’d love to get feedback on a trip I’m looking to do. Any tips, hints, warnings and opinions are appreciated.

Here are my questions:
1. does this route make sense the way I designed it? I was piggy backing off another user who did it roughly this way.

1. is this trip doable mid march in 7-8 days?

2. There’s quite a stretch going through the Mohave desert. Is this stupid to do? Where would I stay if I didn’t want to bring a tent and go ultra lightweight?

3. What are must haves in terms of equipment and resources around this area to bring with me (water, food, repair stuff etc)?

4. how do I best get back to Las Vegas if I’m flying out of there? Amtrak doesn’t seem to have a direct train. does the flixbus or greyhound take bikes?

5. any thoughts and useful other tips?
