Good morning. It’s the second day of riding out at Leblanc Joy Ride. We’re doing about 100 km today. We’ve got a bigger group today which is very lovely. It should be a lovely day out. 100 okay bit of climbing and I’ve got another campag rider with me so that’s always quite nice. So this will be the first proper long ride I’ve done with the campag super ecord wireless 13sp speed group set. So we’ll use it as an opportunity to talk about it and test it out as well. So I’ll keep you posted. Heat. Hey. Hey. Hey. Heat up here. We’re about 25k into the ride. Bit undulating. Kind of tried to shift gear with one hand. Thoughts on camp? It’s very nice. The braking, as I’ve said before, is absolutely exceptional. How have I ended up on the front? Do like what to do on the track then. Yeah. Pull the camera out so it looks like I’m doing something. Yeah, that’s always the other theory. Yeah, I always used to say I need a Wii. Oh, do you need a Wii? No, I say that when I’m struggling. Oh, do you need one now, though? Stop. We could stop. But this video is going to be called Exposing Amy Hudson. Exposing YouTubers. Yeah, she’s sweating. Also could sound quite bad. Hola. Amy, did you just say you wanted to kill that man? Hola. Right, today’s route has been absolutely beautiful so far. Lovely rolling roads, generally very quiet. You’re not really on busy roads very much. It’s a perfect Saturday ride with a good group of people. What more could you ask for really? Beautiful. Hello. Campagic. Aicionardo. Is that the right word? Yeah, definitely. Yeah, definitely. Dying breed. Dying breed, I think. Yeah. Yeah. What do you think of it? Pure class. It shows everybody know about cycling. I think you appreciate the history. Yeah. Yeah. What group sets on this? Uh it’s unfortunately Chris, it’s a mix. It’s a blend of super record through to chorus or what what I could find at the time I think is the the answer. So we’ve got super super record shifters or record. No record with the uh the red. So the red and white which matches the no white super record cranks there. Me chorus mess. And then they are record. Yeah. Record. So the only So technically it’s really is a mix actually. It averages out a record. I think average record. Yeah. It looks lovely. Yeah. Thank you very much. 11 speed. 11. Yeah. I had 12 but I found it a bit finickity. It’s a bit hard to set up. It was beyond my limited uh mechanical skills. So it looks go back to 11. Yeah. And if anyone doesn’t know what one of these bikes is, this is a special bike. Yeah. Tell me about your bike. So it’s made by Pegareti who’s made bikes for Mugra. for Steven Roach for Clauddio Chiapuchi and I think Rick as well. So it specializes in steel also does aluminium and it’s a custom so custom geometry and also custom paint where the owner of the company will ring you decide what you like and then the paint job is based on the mood of the painter at the time. So it comes with you know you know you don’t you don’t know what it’s like until it turns up. You get you get you give them things you like and stuff like that. So I basically said I want it light and bright. Um I’ve raced in Belgium. I like the classics. I like map and I don’t want any barbed wire on it which is one of their things and then yeah this turned up. So you tend to get themes if you look at a time period quite a few bikes looked like this for a while but not exactly the same. So I mean sadly it’s Dario isn’t it Dario. Sadly he is no longer around but the company still exists making these beautiful bikes with incredible paint schemes in them. If you know a Pegareti you know bikes that’s that’s kind of my thinking. They also they’re steals. They’re very classic, but they actually are very raceorientated. They’re very They’re very sharp. They’re very direct. They ride like a race bike, but look very classic. So, yeah. And then, yeah, the wheels that I spent 20 years searching for. Oh, yeah. 20. 20 years. Yeah. I’ve been looking for ones that I can afford and ones that are clincher as opposed to tubular. So, yeah. 20 years on and off. Yeah. They just made me think of Yan Rick. Whenever I’m riding them, I think Yan Rick, what would he ride? And this is this is those Hey, heat. Hey. each. Don’t mind if I do. I told you the rule is one of each. I think it’s I’ll tell you what it is. Taste test. Hang on. Hang on. Oh, just reverse it. Yeah. Go. We ate it too quick. What is it? Is it a sorry I am boommy or the pictures that you I don’t know how to describe it. It’s nice nice Spanish thing. No. Yeah. Yeah. Is it like fruit or it’s cinnamony? Okay. I thought it would be chinnamon. Cinnamon. I love cinnamon. Right. Cafe stop done. coffee, Aquarius, Coca-Cola, and cake. We got about 35, 40k to go, and then we’re done for the day. Did an absolutely glorious day out. Good people, good company, good bikes. We have done the majority of the climbing today. Now starting to roll back to the hotel. Beautiful day. Really lovely group of people. We’re slowly getting there. Been a fantastic day. I would say IA probably is a place to cycle. It’s so underrated. The riding here is really good. The roads are absolutely incredible. Silky smooth tarmac, lovely flowing climbs, but everyone always looks at the big brother and looks at Mayorca. I do think I might be one you should consider as your next destination to go cycling. My dogs don’t like it. My dog wouldn’t do that. It’s preparing me for around the world. You’re going to have to get chased. If you go to Turkey, I am. Yeah. Don’t tell me that, friends. They’re big dogs. They’re lovely. If you get off your bike, I’m going to attach a stick to my bike. Take a stick. Yeah. Yeah. Basically, we just got chased by some um We just got chased. Lovely dogs. Oh, do you want to do mine as well? Sorry. Yeah. Well, I can’t hold two. You can go. We just got chased by two German shepherds running and biting at our heels. So, feeling full of adrenaline right now, but we’re okay. We’re good. Uh, yeah. Need a bit of shell shock. I just subbed in a new person. What’s in the bottle, Amy? Um, it is a black caps we It’s electrolytes. I was trying to think of the silliest thing across. Black cats. I nearly said Kyle’s wee, but I thought, “Oh, that’s a bit that’s a bit I mean, you can say what you want on my channel.

  1. Your Campagnolo brethren had a rare & beautiful frame. And Amy is one of the nicest folks in this space, while Kyle looks faster w/ the white bars & saddle.
