Dene Quarry, operated by Tarmac near the village of Cromford in the Derbyshire Dales, is a working limestone quarry set against the scenic White Peak landscape.
The site extracts around 500,000 tonnes of material annually, with somewhere between 61 and 91 full HGV loads leaving the site each day (depending on load size) and up to ~182 two-way heavy-goods vehicle movements per day in one scenario.
Beyond extraction, the quarry is also pushing ahead with restoration: the landform is being reshaped into more natural rolling slopes, turf and calcareous grassland are being re-established, and old limestone faces are being preserved to link the industrial site back into the rural setting.

"As always, enjoy the flight!" you say . . . . and I certainly did. You fly your drone like a boss and publish cool, interesting video's which are a joy to watch.
500,000 tonnes of material extracted annually, I can see the quarry is huge but WOWZA, the numbers are really impressive.
