I've re-accumulated enough bikes and parts that I have my first parts bin build!

Was at a bit of a loss at what to do with my old $10 urban beater fixed gear.. a low end 70s department store road bike, but pretty sturdy and rides smooth. Diamond 1008 tubing. Accidentally the most miles I've put on a bike by far.

Took a fairly wild guess at 40mm tires (WTB Nano's were on sale) and they are a perfect fit! thank goodness.

Rear wheel is just a place holder, still deciding on a drivetrain.

Crank is a 40T Sugino VP (decade or so newer than the original Sugino crankset).

Brakes are cheap amazon high clearance/high reach dual pivot (can't recommend, might upgrade later). SORA levers, Shimano cables/housing

Bars and massive stem came off my early 2000s DK hardtail with a quill adapter.

Saddle is my trusty WTB speed comp V, still the most comfortable saddle I have ever owned.

I think it will make a good gravel/single track/fireroad runner/packer. Beats putting it in storage and it's definitely not nice enough to hang on the wall and to sentimental to toss.
