SYN might look like the latest influencer kit drop, but its story goes way deeper. Born from a 1990s German factory, this brand’s roots go back decades before Instagram. Here’s how a family-run workshop in Saxony became one of cycling’s most divisive names.

Sin story begins decades before the logo ever hit Instagram. Back in 1993 in the sction town of Shemnits, a small textile company was formed by the Beaer family. Originally focused on high performance sports undergarments, the company evolved under the leadership of Stephie Bath and her son Sasha Winkler. Beer specialized in technical fabrics, race ready silhouettes, and fully in-house manufacturing. Now, before it was a standalone label, Sin was actually a cycling club. The Belay Syndicate, SIN, was launched as a global cycling community. Members got access to exclusive kits, private Straa groups, Zift rides, discounts, and in-person events across Europe.
