Is there any way to check the battery % of the E-Bikes before a ride?

Cause my first ever ride I had the other day, it felt as though there wasn’t any assist at all.

These are great PAYG options. Just check the e-bikes before you set off: including the tyres. often I found the motor didn't kick in, or gears didn't work and so ended up having to return them and find another one. Make sure you do it asap and take it to next Beryl stop to leave the ebike. I got into a few arguments with customer services on the app because the e-bike was not in acceptable condition before they reimbursed me my minutes and unlocking fee.
