Let’s get outside 🌿🚴‍♀️✨

Hello guys, welcome back to my channel. I am already on my climb of the day which I decided to do around the town of Zion which is very cute. I never actually came here but I think I’ll be exploring this area in the upcoming rides. We are already inside the Alp region. This is a huge valley where you see already the mountains coming up. So you see also other hills in between the big mountains. So it’s very nice. And there is also the castle of that is very cool. And I see if I can get up there today after my ride. So for today I’m starting with this climb and I’ll be climbing until I reach my destination. And I’m very excited to show you guys. As you can see, I’m all cover up because it’s very cold. I think my bike season is getting to an end, at least in the mountain region. Today, I’m very happy because there is sun, but when there is not sun, it’s just not fun. But yeah, let’s get going. [Music] So this is also a wine region. [Music] Okay, I got it’s a crazy climb. way too steep. And I’m already feeling warm removing some of my clothes, but I don’t want to remove my gloves because yeah, better not. Wow, the castle so nice. [Music] [Music] [Music] Hey. Hey. Hey. [Music] 400 m uphill and I never saw such a busy road. [Music] What is this? [Music] [Music] [Music] Wow, look at that guys. See the glacier? So beautiful. I came all this way to see this. So, I’m getting very close to it. And the nicest thing is that we can actually pass underneath the rocks through a tunnel. And from the other side, I think we’re going to have a better view. I think the nicest way to see it is also when the sun turns to the other side, so you have the light on the rocks. But either way, it’s super cool. I never imagined I would find something like this here in Switzerland and the cows. [Music] So yeah, let’s keep going and check it out on the other side. [Music] So we actually came from the other side over there. And now we are here. Wow, this is so nice. I don’t think you can park here, but if you come for a hike or with the bike, you can just profit from this place. So nice. Look at this. It feels like this has been sculptured by men, but actually this is nature. Wow. So nice. And this goes all to the way down on the valley. We came from down there. And it’s so interesting because it feels like so fragile. And I think in the upcoming years, this will most likely be gone. And these are the animals you find around the Alp region. These ones are very easy to find. This one I never did. No. [Music] So, I want to get closer to if I can see better on the other side. Okay. [Music] Wow. I’ll go cycling until there and do another break there. From this side, the view is definitely better. So, if you come by car, you’re going to pass through this tunnel. If you come by walking or cycling, you can pass from here. [Music] And then we have the valley down there. Wow. some village. [Music] Look at this place. Wow. [Music] I even found a place for my bike and a bench and sun, which is also everything I need at the moment. So I was reading about this place and this is actually a natural phenomenon that nature actually sculptured this even though it feels like unreal. I will continue here on this side because I want to see where this goes. I know that if we continue all the way forever, we do a turn and we move to the other side. This and as you can see there is a bridge. [Music] [Music] Really [Music] noisy here. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Well, I am climbing in this part on zone 4. So, it’s a sort of a training which is always good, right, to get faster. And I still have 100 mters or so still to climb. And then I will reach a small village and I hope I can get something to eat there. And then from there it’s pretty much downhill all the way to Son. Yes, the day is beautiful, sunny. Super nice. I’m really happy I came to this part because in Loausan in that area was just gray. So here is beautiful and you see the mountains. Another nice thing about this road here is that it’s not the main road. You don’t have many cars passing by because the one down there was so busy. I don’t know where all these people are going to. We arrived. Oh my god. So I was down there throughout here and then I climbed all of this. So after a thousand meters elevation gain here I am at the village of Son which is very cute. You have here church. Everything seems pretty much closed to me. So, I found a supermarket here and I just got some peanuts and an yogurt, which is a local one. I guess one of the best things in Switzerland is the yogurt. really I love it’s so creamy, so nice. I just found the perfect spot here. So, I’m done with my climb and I will start descending very soon. So, I’ll just do a break for some snacks and then I need to cover up because yeah, going down is always a torture at this time of the year. So, I have here my yogurt and some peanuts. [Laughter] So, I was just looking at the map to see what kind of mountains we have there as well as the glacier. And I just noticed that if I had continued on the valley down there, I would have reached Aurora, which is a place that is marked on my map for years that I really wanted to go. So that will be probably my next destination with my bike. So I could not really see the name of the glacier on the map but uh as far as I understood that will be already the mountains where we will have the division between Switzerland and Italy. So yeah pretty cool stuff. Now I started getting cold going back to the valley to really cover up. Would [Music] you have the courage to do a via? I’m definitely not there yet. Wow, look at those people. Oh, mad. Insanity. Yeah, climbing this mountain. Let’s continue going down. [Music] I decided to stop here to look at this view. So I took the shortcut the vineyards and there we have seen in the castle. So beautiful. So, I’m almost done with my descent. Now, it’s the first time in Switzerland that I felt like this valley is so so big that we feel so small because most of the valleys here are very narrow. I was in Sweden doing a hike there. You could see this crazy valley, super super large, super long that you would walk through it for like days without an end. And here in Switzerland, most of the valleys are very narrow. So this is the first one that I see that has a lot of space in between the mountains.
