One resource we discovered for the Alpe Adria trail, but only when we were in the middle of the trip, was the small map book pictured above. It appears to be self published by the La Chiusa Societa' Cooperativa and costs 5 euros from their location along the trail. It appears that you can order it from the email address mentioned in the text of the picture.
