Although uh the visors are clean at the moment, it seems like the drizzle has stopped. The roads will not dry up for the remainder of this time trial, of course. But but they’re less wet than they were for some of the contestants. I’d rather be racing now than earlier, I’d have to say, cuz there are some there are some dry patches in the road, but that doesn’t really solve your problem. You need to be able to to know and to judge and be confident. And this is the last man of our 110 starting this prologue in Zod Park here in the H. Denny from Pul. He is the Dutch road race champion, but of course he cannot wear that skin suit in the time trial. That was up to Dan Holler. We’ve seen him before. And he is a contender for a good result. Quite possibly a win. Although that time for Cameron Rogers almost 54 km an hour average for the 20-year-old from Australia. The time to beat 4269 free. First we’ll have Ethan hater crossing the line. That is about to happen. He’s uh he should be in the final kilometer right now. Ethan hat her. And then this man is also a contender. But yeah, why not TTT? He’s got the track skills. He looks he looks like he means business here. Yeah. Lovely lovely compact with lovely compact position. I just kind of look at it and think well if if it’s that kind of race then Ethan hater ought to have what Tim to it got to bring this except Ethan hater ought to have more and here he is not. There he is. 426 is the time. He’s at 300 meters from the line. It’s going to be very very tight here for Ethan hater to beat that time of Cameron Rogers. He is the national champion of his country. He’s giving everything all the way to the line to beat that time of Cameron Rogers and get that first orange jersey. Time is ticking by. Is he going to beat it? He is going to beat it. 3300s of a second. Ethan is now the fastest man out on the course and Cameron Rogers was beaten by Ethan Hater. That was a very close call. short prologue races, they always come down to kind of t and hundreds of a second. And that’s that’s exactly exactly what we’ve just seen. This is kind of a course that I wouldn’t say it’s tailor made for Ethan Hater, but he’s got a lot to bring to it. He might have liked it a little bit longer, but he comes with that track background, a very refined time trial position. Um, and just nip that from under the nose of Cameron Rogers. I think for a split second did Cameron Rogers think maybe maybe he maybe he’d survived. Mhm. It was just a spark of maybe a little bit of optimism before the other time flashed up. So close. Time has just been adjusted. The difference between the two. 28 hundreds of a second. Tim Tom Tenberg TTT. He is running out of time to beat that time of Ethan. But he he needs a good position for the for the bonus seconds in the sprints that are coming tomorrow and quite possibly take that orange jersey off the shoulders of Ethan hater. Although hater himself can do a good sprint as well, but Timier will be the dedicated men there. Yeah. No, I think tomorrow is all about Timberlier. I think Fabio Jacobson, Olive Koi, the kind of the front rack sprinters. There are one or two of them, but particularly Olive Koi who is well within reach of the um of the front of the GC if he gets the bonuses tomorrow. Most definitely. He’s only 6 seconds down on Ethan hater and we’ve got 10 six and four on the line and 32 and one at the Red Bull kilometers and and and the Red Bull kilometer is is not that far out from the line. The last one is at 15. Yeah, two of them. One at 58 and one at 15. Solid time here by Yan Price Peterson the Danish rider but he’s not going to beat that time of Ethan hater. So there’s only one rider left, Denny from Popul. I rather doubt whether he can beat that time of hater. I’m I’m coming around to looking at it that way. I thought the way the course was riding maybe it was going to be a little bit more like that kind of that kind of race tonight. But looking at the way Ethan hater approached that and particularly Cameron Rogers as the rider who’s in second place. It’s that kind of tracky time trialist crossover that’s that’s really getting results here tonight. Well, he made it to the hot seat. Wave to the camera, Ethan. Well done, man. Yeah, look at the differences. It’s 2800s of a second. 4400s of a second. It’s not 28 seconds. No, it’s not. No, this this misses one uh one digit one zero there. No, no, no. Den Pul is not going to beat that time. Still got 400 meters to go. 11 seconds. That is impossible even if you are Matt Richardson on a track. But he needs that time. He gets free a free roll. Oh, that’s very dark. All of a sudden, he gets a free roll today. Um, in the sprints, of course, he he doesn’t have to do the lead outs. It’s all for himself this week for Denny football in the tour of Holland. It’s a good start for him, but the win is for Ethan hater of the uh sort of quickstep team. British national champion brings home the win in the prologue and gets the first orange jersey. The snow.

A big congratulations to Cameron Rogers 2nd to Country Champions and World Champions. 🇦🇺 so close.
That course smells like cyclocross environment
A Quick One: Too bad the weather did not cooperate for fans……and riders.
I watched the event live on Eurosport. Rogers was definitely the best today, he went early when others crashed, difficult and wet course, as the course dried up for the cyclists in the end, it was much easier to get good times
Get Cameron a contract for next year!
They have bike races in Holland? (The only thing more boring than a TT is a TT in Holland.)
You would think team time trials would suite Tim Torn Teutenberg better.
