🌍 First loop to touch three countries in a day. Heavy in NL, lighter in DE, middling in BE, and a lot of smiles. Border stones changed, momentum did not. Counting it as a win and rolling on toward Worlds. 🌧️

First time riding a single loop that crossed borders three times. I rolled out in the Netherlands and crossed into Germany. Later I dipped into Belgium before looping home. New signs, new road feel, same big grin.
The weather played its own game. The Netherlands threw hard rain. Germany eased to a light mist. Belgium landed somewhere in the middle. Variety kept the ride lively and the views felt fresh even through streaked glasses.
Days like this sharpen awareness for race week. Lines change with surface and paint, tires hum differently, drivers behave differently. Border stones come and go, momentum stays. I am soaking it in and banking the little details for Worlds.
Three borders in one day, heavy in NL, lighter in DE, middling in BE, plenty of smiles. New country markers flashed by, the cadence stayed calm, and the stoke climbed. Rolling on with fresh energy for the next session and the big start line ahead. @West_Point_Cycles @ucichannel @USACyclingOrg @UCIGravelWorldSeries

🌍 3 days to Gravel World Championships: 3 Countries One Ride 🌧️
Another new experience for me today: For
the first time, I rode my bike into three different countries on one ride. I started
in the Netherlands, went over into Germany, crossed over into Belgium before finally returning
back to the Netherlands. I got to tell you, the variety in these European countries is
incredible! You had hard rain in the Netherlands, kind of light rain in Germany, and medium
rain in Belgium. You gotta love variety!
