Hi r/gravelcycling!
I am interested in the Blackheart Allroad TI (especially since there is now a distributor in Europe!) and would like to hear from people who have actual hands-on experience with it. So: How do you like riding it? How does it compare to other gravel or road bikes you know? And important for me, at this ridiculous price point: What’s your impression of the frame and fork quality?
And I’ve also got a few more technical questions for anyone who’s built one up:
- Cable routing: How easy was it to work with? On the photos, it looks like the shift cable housing is going through the frame – is this correct? I plan to install a mechanical group set.
- Do you need adapters for front & rear flat-mount calipers if you want to run 160 mm rotors? What screw length is needed for the rear flat-mount?
- What’s the SHIS spec for the headset?
