I have this wheelset that I want to put on my bikepacking/touring bike. It’s 32h 20 mm inner width, and seems well built. It has no decals or stickers of any kind, so I’ve no idea what it is. I’ve not yet been able to set it up tubeless with the poor man’s way (without air compressor). But based on feedback from mtb’ers, it seems I should be able to set it up tubeless, with an air compressor. The bead stays seated when I deflate the tube, which is encouraging. But the bead shelves are not very wide. I’m likely going to need a compressor every time I install a tire.

I’m wondering whether this is a legit concern when it comes to touring and bikepacking. Is it really a big deal that I can’t reseat the tire with a CO2, since we have plugs, and tubes just in case. Also, I’m uncertain what the max pressure rating would be. I’m planning to run 2.1-2.3″ tires on it.
