You know, when you’re a kid, you always have a dream of this and that and just being part of the big things and like going to the Olympics and, you know, grand tours and stuff. Yeah, it’s unbelievable. I remember coming here in ‘ 04 with the Olympics now, the whole races starting here cuz this bell drums named after me and stuff was just bonkers. And yeah, it’s just full circle to finishing Cardiff is amazing. And 2K to my house on the finish line and no better way to for it to finish. It’s a strange one. Like I say, you know, you kind of forget them at a bike race. It’s uh all the boys and the staff and, you know, saying nice things and sort of, you know, signing stuff and then obviously all the fans and things is incredible. The years I’ve had and finishing here and deciding to stop this year and and then have this weekend, you know, the fact that Tour Britain’s in September and can do it as my last race is it’s all kind of aligned and it’s unbelievable really. And yeah, I never expected that at all really. So, um, you know, it’s just, uh, almost like celebration before the start and then you get going, you’re like, “Oh jeez, we got bit racing to do now.” Yeah, it’s stuff of dreams really. [Music]
