If planes towed a massive bag, could they catch a cloud? Well, clouds can be over 6 miles wide, holding billions of pounds of water. And even if you had a bag big enough to hold it, it would act like a giant parachute, creating so much drag that the engines couldn’t keep moving. But if the planes were powerful enough, you might be able to actually capture the cloud. However, once the vapor turned back into liquid, the weight of it would snap toewe cables, crushing the planes as they fall out of the sky.
