Dusted another one off for the weekend. 1988 I believe. Added this to my fleet about 14 years ago. Did a couple of minor modernizations but otherwise this is pretty darn near original. It’s a stiff as a train rail and about as comfortable as a baseball bat, but charming in its own way. I am thinking about rebuilding the wheels with either a Deep V or Arrowhead rim and black spokes.
It took me a while, but I actually learned to appreciate the original arrow hoods versus the more flat arrangement often seen today. That envelope was much narrower, but once I got it dialed in it’s equally as comfortable.
