We’re doing a bit more National Geographic than Red Bull Rampage today. Watch it in 4k on the big TV! Going through a ton of different beautiful landscapes.

Wandering Wheels invited me on this trip for free in exchange for doing these videos and supplemented some travel costs.

Watch your head. Watch your head. See you Ravi. See you. We are rolling out of Marfa from the Marfa Palace Hotel heading out of the Himalayas. Down. We had the most time to get ready this morning and I was the most frantic. The work will fill the time you give it. No shuttle today. Just riding point to point. Oh, there’s the plane we took. Heading up to Jam Som. Glad we don’t have to get in that thing again. Through the apple orchards. Marfa is famous for apples. Apple brandy. Apple pancake. Our guides and drivers have been taking real good care of us. They washed all our bikes, cleaned them up. there. Looking so good. Looks like I got new tires. This is the Mustang Valley lower Mustang. Just moving all the way down to Pokera in a couple days. Sunscreen is on. Hopefully get back home with a little base tan. Wow. is how much longer is that bridge going to be there. That is under [Applause] load into the forest. Who saw that coming? Starting off at 8700 ft and slowly trickling down. Man, if you’ve ever wanted to see Nepal, this is the way to do it. I’m sure the hiking stuff is nice, but this has been h this is my way to see a country for sure. Trekking multiple days, that’s good to get in the zen, in the zone, be alone with your thoughts. But the mountain bike version is like every day something different, some amazing food thing, culture thing, riding thing. The full menu. We’ve seen so much manual labor, all kinds of different things. One of the most memorable is just a bunch of ladies sitting around rocks, cracking rocks, turning it into gravel. just piece by piece by hand. Seen some people quarrying stone, just digging out for stone. Or maybe they’re just clearing a foundation cuz I think uh one of the hotels we were going to stay at just like fell down or maybe it got demolished, but Matt said it just wasn’t there anymore. Pretty good amount of English spoken as well. It’s pretty cool to be able to communicate a little bit. Hello. Hello. We’re riding our bikes. I have not yet gone for a swim on this trip. I would really like that. I think we might end up at a hot spring today, which is funny cuz watch it’ll be too hot. [Music] This is adventure. Get that momentum. Yeah, there is some heavy machinery we’ve seen. Not a ton. Wow. Nice ramps for us. If you can see that white peak up there, seventh highest mountain in the world, Digiri. I’ve been talking about it every episode. We’ve got some breaking news from Element, the best electrolyte drink mix in the business and the fine sponsor of today’s video. There is a new flavor. It’s called Lemonade Salt. It’s the best thing ever. Holy moly. Lemonade. Lemonade like your grandma made. You know you want it. Element absolutely nailed it with the lemonade flavor, but it’s a limited time only thing. Holy moly. I got to stock up on these boxes. I am going full prepper mode. It took me so long to find that perfect electrolyte drink that checked all the boxes for me. Something that tasted great but didn’t have a pound of sugar. Something that kept me fired up all throughout a ride, but didn’t have caffeine and didn’t make me jittery. And most importantly, something that didn’t mess with my stomach or have a weird aftertaste. The element thesis is out with sugar and in with salt. They believe that most people, especially people who get out and sweat a lot, need more salt in their diet, not less, to feel good and perform their best. The element mission is to restore health through hydration if you do not have your electrolytes dialed in. You’re going to get cramps. You’re going to get headaches. You’re going to have that general brain fog and tiredness that we all hate. The best part about Element for me is the sodium, potassium, and magnesium it has to get me through a long day on the mountain bike. The best part about Element for you is that you are taking zero risk on your first taste of Element. Use my link drinkelement.combkxc. Put in your first order. Lemonade salt is probably the way to go right now. And if you try it and you don’t like it, all you have to do is email Element. They will give you a full refund and you don’t even have to send the product back. But you should definitely give the product to your friend and then when they fall in love with it, make sure they use my link as well. And whether it’s your first order or 500th order of Element, make sure you use my link and you’re going to get that eight pack sample pack for free. Every once in a while, you got to change up the flavors. The sample pack helps you along with that. The hot days of summer are upon us. It’s time to get your hydration sorted out and your electrolytes dialed in. Use my link drl nt.com/bkxc. I don’t ever think I got a good shot of these brambles. Not the green stuff, but there’s a bunch of these like low bushes that are just full spike. And I guess the the goats love them. They got no problem with the spikes. Oh, yeah. You can see right through it. Lovely. Oh, hard [Applause] turn. This is incredible. We’ve had pretty good snow, crazy wind, cold, and now absolutely perfect. All the other rides were pretty dang good. I like a little adventure. The snow is way better than rain, I’ll tell you that much. Tukushe. Trip leader Matt leading the way. This is his trip. If you’re interested, if you’ve watched all the videos, check out the link in the description. See what it takes to get out here. Oh yeah. Over the Gabon wall. Nope. looking for fossils. This is a primo hunting ground. The the place we stayed, Yak Donald’s, they had a bunch of different little fossils for sale and they had big ones for sale, like a boulder, like twice as big as a bowling ball. Can I ship this back home? [Applause] I’m going to fry my brain if I keep looking for these fossils. But it’s like shopping at IKEA. I always get fully overloaded. Clos line wire. There’s a wire here. All right. 26,795 ft. [Applause] Hello. Oh, wow. Guess you don’t have to kill a horse if it has a broken leg. I did contemplate bringing the binoculars out on this trip. I just don’t have like a a micro set. I’ve got kind of medium size, which are nice, but they’d be a bit much to pack every day. Even a scope or monok monocular would be pretty good. I really want to get like an infrared thermal vision scope for Ever Stoke. Go walking around in the middle of the night looking for hot spots. Oh man, those are the biggest rocks and craziest rapids yet. That is amazing. Whoa, that’s legit. We are just getting our first glimpse at Annaperna 1, 10th tallest mountain in the world. I did get to see Mount Everest with my own two eyes last week. It was very far away, but I could see it. Pretty special. Ooh. All good. That was nasty. Side clip. My buddy James making things exciting for us. One of the good surprises and delights of the trip so far has been seabbuckthorn juice. That is really good. this bright orange juice and then you look it up, it has all these really good anti- viral, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory. Maybe not antibiotic, but you know, you know what I’m trying to say. Just the the greatest juice of all time. So, I ordered some seeds from Amazon. They’ll be waiting for me at home. Try to grow some seabbuckthorn bushes and a pera one on the left, I guess, middle left. far left, nil giri. Once you get down to 23,000 ft for a mountain, it’s not even in the top 150 or something. It’s not even listed. Landslide. I heard some rocks coming down. Hope everyone behind me is okay. double black diamond. Leap frog. And so under this I think is all just running water. You can pull these off cuz I always hear the water running. [Music] Hello. Laundry day. [Music] Whoa, that’s amazing. Little flow. Liking it. Very cool. Don’t drop my phone. Get me out of here. Did you stop bouncing? We’ve been neck and neck with that car the whole time. Backing up. He got bullied out. Oh no. I’m happy to wait 4 seconds. Go for it. Adventure Supreme. Pretty crazy how it’s like the super highway and then the tiny little road. We rolled right into the old Camala Hotel and we celebrated not getting hit by any cars with a nice fresh lemonade and then headed over to the hot springs which was extra hot and refreshing. had a great plate of chicken fried rice for dinner. We’ve got more to come. We’ve got more riding. Two more days from Nepal. Endless action and adventure. I hope you’ll stick around. Thanks for watching you guys. I’ll see you on the trail.

  1. Hey bro, your video quality is so immersive yet simple❤. Can you break down your camera and mic setup? I'm especially curious about how you mount your mic to get such good sound quality without any background noise like bicycles and people around.

  2. Very rude to ride your bike on narrow streets with pedestrians. You give mountain bikers and Americans a bad reputation man 😢. Get off your bike and walk like a gentleman in those areas.
