Ever wanted to know what it’s like to dodge taxis, pedestrians, potholes, and existential dread — all while riding a bike through Manhattan? Well, you’re in luck. 🚴‍♂️💥 THIS IS PART 2.

In this video, I brave the wild streets of New York City on two wheels, narrowly avoid becoming a hood ornament, and question all my life choices in real time. It’s like Fast & Furious, but with more honking and fewer explosions (barely).

Grab a helmet (and maybe a stress ball) and join me on this chaotic ride through the Big Apple. Spoiler: I say “I’m walkin’ here!” at least once… while biking. Classic.

[Music] [Music] Well, didn’t expect that, but uh there was no ducking state. There’s no place to duck the bike here. I got to keep going. Um, an idiot. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] Hello. I was going to return the bike, walk around here, get a new bike, but I’m just going to keep going. Okay, so we’re on the east side, east side of Manhattan right now. looking at uh Brooklyn on the right. Now, once you get on those good bike lane, riding is really smooth here. You really could have like a normal bike and ride here except occasional stupid pedestrians. In fact, I just had this conversation with my daughter yesterday that some people ride so fast here that you got to watch out more for the bikers than the cars. I feel like now. I I believe there’s another like a highway right above me and I’m riding underneath. I wonder if you can like a rent like a regular bike here like a little longterm for like a week or two weeks in New York. I’m sure there’s got to be a place like this. Uh feel like you can do anything in New York. And if you do it long term, it’s probably not that pricey. So this is a I want to say it’s called Seapport Village. We were here yesterday. I think this is considered uh that’s where the oldest architecture in New York is still here available to see except I think we were here like around 11 or 12. It look quite different. Now it’s nice and quiet. Heat. Heat. [Music] Now, this is more scenic. All right, so this is the Brooklyn Bridge. Uh, I might still walk it today. [Music] [Music] What? There’s going to be a big bike lane starting again. I hope. Thanks, man. So, last time I rode the bike around here, this place wasn’t so busy. I felt like you could go all the way under. There was no construction. Okay, this is a I believe it’s a Manhattan Bridge. The noise you’re hearing is from the subway. [Music] All right, we can hopefully pick up some speed now. Otherwise, going to I’m going to spend like $100 on this uh uh bike ride. Oh, that’s kind of cool. You can go fishing. Yeah. Okay. So, they hand this area right here. It’s like you have a bar. You sit here. You have a little counter and you can watch the river. It I think it’s awesome. The only exception one, there was one of those right under the Manhattan Bridge where you keep hearing the uh Oh my god, that is gorgeous here. This is really cool. Take a look at this. Don’t know for sure where I’m at right now. Uh I think I’ve seen this Running on that I mean biking on this side of the peninsula it’s feels little less scenic. Architecture is not as impressive. However, you do look at the Brooklyn. It’s kind of nice. I think this part is closer to Chinatown. Chinatown is somewhere on this side of Manhattan. But in the next couple miles, cuz I do in those parts, I do feel like I see uh more Asian people here. I know there’s not 446 bridges like in Pittsburgh in New York City, but there are lots of them as well, too. Uh there was a sea plane just flew over. That’s one of those New York City water ferry that we took yesterday. It’s one of the stops. Again, in my opinion, the best attraction in New York City for $450. And if you buy the pass of 10, they’re only 290 a ride. It’s definitely the best ride and you can actually transfer from one boat to another one. And so this looks like lower Manhattan was under the construction right around the Brooklyn Bridge and right below it. And that area here looks like construction just finished in the last few years because it looks pretty spunky new here. Pretty new clean. Again, lots of older older Asian people. Okay. Again, this is one of those little bars here kind of. Imagine this. You can put your computer on the table and do some work. Put your I actually dig it. Dig it a lot. I don’t like a regular trail. Less bumpy. I kind of got lost. There was a parks below the uh part of the bike bike bike bike lanes were all like blocked off and it was under construction. Obviously I didn’t do my research. So, uh, I decided to ride through the Manhattan. So, this is a Bernard Bar houses. I’ve never really cared for that area. I always thought it’s kind of ugly, old, ugly. Probably like 50s at least. Those buildings, they kind of look like projects to me. Some old uh air conditions. Windows look really old in those buildings. But regardless, I’m on a lower east side right now. Uh not certain where exactly. as the Oh, I’m really low Manhattan because all the streets are still have their names. Hey, how do I get to the first avenue? Oh, yeah. Go all the way down. Okay. Yeah. Okay. What about that? I’m going to stay like on top of East. I’m going to say like first. So, is am I like far from like the let’s say the fifth street or something? The bus. You can bus the 14 to um um Um, okay. No, I got to get some exercise even though it’s electric bike. So, it’s like Okay. Okay. Thanks. So, you’re welcome. Hello. Heat. Okay. Uh, if I’m correct, this is a six street. So, uh, [Music] I only have 72 street, 72 blocks to go. I don’t even know if I’m if I’m allowed to ride in the bike lane, but Oh, looks like there was a fire here.
