Back in Derbyshire for a cycle ride on part of the Monsal Trail.
At 515 yards in length, Litton Tunnel is one of six along this stretch of the former Midland Railway line, closed to rail traffic since 1968, and now part of National Cycle Route 680.

Hello, only a short one today. We’re back on the bicycle on the Monsul Trail. This line was opened in 1863 by the Manchester, Buckston, Matlock and Midland Junction Railway. It cut through the Peak District in Darbisha as part of a line connecting London and Manchester. The line closed in 1968. However, in 1981, it opened as a Monsul Trail with diversions around the tunnels. It was 2011 before the tunnels were opened as part of the trail. This is Linton Tunnel, 515 yd in length, one of six tunnels on the route. Heat. Heat. So, thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe and we’ll see you soon.
