Day 140 of riding my bike around the world. Hello, my name is Annabelle and I am currently riding through Spain. We are on day 10, I believe. We had a few cups of coffee this morning and the most delicious tortilla I’ve had since being in Spain. And then got to riding. Today was going to be pretty flat, which I was very excited for. And the sun was shining and we had blue sky, which we haven’t had in quite some time. So, I was really excited for that. But unfortunately, we had some pretty strong winds today. and headwinds and just wind in general are like by far my least favorite condition. I can handle the cold, the rain, darkness, like all of it, but wind is just so brutal. We had a few miles where it chilled out a bit, but for the most part it was going all day. Um, and yeah, we started riding next to this really pretty canal and we haven’t seen water in a bit, so that was nice. We stopped at a little cafe and had some lunch. It was delicious. And then we kept going. After lunch, we diverged from the Camino de Santiago and we’re back on the Eurobelloo 1. So yeah, it was really nice getting to ride on the commamino. So nice seeing like other walkers and hikers and I don’t know, just having people kind of understand what we’re doing when they see us on our bikes and not having to like explain the whole situation. Today was a slightly longer day than we’ve done the past few days. I think like 45 miles and like 70k or something like that. Um, and we made it to Palencia and I will see you guys soon. Bye.
