Here we see a bunch of cyclists again (and again) not stopping for the red light in both the main lane and cycle lane!

Parts of Oxford Street are terrible. A few months ago a saw a copper stop a cyclist Coz he went through a red light…. That's one in 10 years.
Yo ! They are riding on the wrong side of the road
Red lights are an invention for cars. They are phased for car traffic so that cars don’t kill other road users. So when you have a red light and absolutely zero humans, it’s a bit pointless and frustrating for a cyclist to wait. Obeying traffic is for ‘safety’. If the traffic signal is too long, it not only frustrates commuters, it compromises safety by creating the incentive to break rules. I get honked at and cut off when I follow the rules anyway. so you never win.
Are they actually being a danger to anyone though??
Did they cut pedestrians off or something
This is like car drivers that block motorbikes
That red light looks utterly pointless. The cyclists are not crossing any motor vehicle traffic, only other cyclists. As The Netherlands has shown, cyclists don't need protection from other cyclists, only cars. That set of lights needs removing.
However, where cyclists share road space with cars, red lights are needed and should be heeded by all road users.
