So tomorrow I’ll be riding from Winchester to Eastborne and back. It’s 200 miles on the southbounds way. I’ll be trying to do it in 24 hours. I’m doing it for action tutoring, the charity that I work for and I’ve long supported. Here you can see what’s going in my uh rucksack mostly. Um my sugar solution and my drink mix and my snack bars for the next 24 hours when I start tomorrow at 8:00. The bike I’ll be riding. Um the first aid kit, waterproofs, jumper, um etc., etc. spare inner tubes just in case. And down here, we’ve got my helmet ready, my gloves, and charging the lights I’ll need for tomorrow evening cuz I’ll be cycling back during the night. Morning. So, here we are at the statue. Uh, very bad. Look at it. There’s the bike. About to try and ride 200 miles. Say I’m nervous is a little uh Yeah, I’m scared. Thanks very much. So, made it to Eastborne. Just got to go back. Not going to lie, quite tired. One of the ridest hard one of the ridest hardest rides of my life. Just got to do it again. Hey everyone. So, made it just about. Gosh, that was a hard night. Um, so here I am back in Winchester. Didn’t quite make it in 24 hours that I’d hoped, but did it in about 24 and 1/2 hours, so not bad. Um, and I guess you do have to try and stop and get water in and stuff like that. Thanks so much for everyone’s support and supporting Action Tutoring. Um it’s a great charity and it’s privilege to work with them. And if I’ve learned one thing today or over the last 24 hours anyway is that grit and determination are massively important. And actually one of my reflections is that it’s tutoring that can give that for pupils because it’s a way of having one-on-one and one-on-one tutoring. So, thanks very much again.
