Hello everyone.
A friend and I are planning to build our own bike / customize an existing model.
The aim is to get a mix between a Gravel and an urban bike, making the necessary modifications ourselves.

After a lot of research it seems cheaper to take a bike as a base and make modifications to it, we thought of the[Orbea carpe 40](https://www.orbea.com/es-es/bicicletas/urbanas/carpe/cat/carpe-40-2023) and I’d like your opinion.

We would change the handlebars and brake levers, the saddle, the tyres for 32s, and potentially the cassette in time.

What do you think? Does the base seem like a good choice?
