Title, my mom has this bike that was my dad’s in storage, I’ve been looking to get a bike as my main mode of transportation, I was wanting to get an ebike, but I hear trek is a good brand.
Could I convert this to a commuter? Even maybe an ebike down the line?
It does seem to look more like a mountain bike, could I swap stuff out like tires and such to be more commuter friendly?
If this works out I could take it to the local bike shops and get a overhaul done on it, as it’s sat in storage for years.
