Good deal?

I’m still a beginner rider but i’m switching from a hybrid to a road bike and came across this 2018 Fuji SL 1.1. Price is firm at $1000 but it seems to me to be a good deal. Upgraded carbon wheels and other carbon parts add value i’m sure as well. My current bike has disc brakes and this bike is rim brakes which I don’t like with the carbon wheels. Not sure if the rim brakes wear down the tires over time or not. But if anyone has any advice or thinks this would be a good pick up it would be appreciated.
