An amazing one-day hike up Merkur Peak in Baden-Baden! ⛰️ Starting from the famous Merkurbergbahn, Germany’s longest funicular railway, I completed the hike up and down in just 3.5 hours at a normal pace.
At the 668-meter-high summit, you’ll find the Merkurturm, offering breathtaking views of Baden-Baden city and the Black Forest mountains. The peak is perfect for all kinds of adventure: people were paragliding, hiking, cycling uphill and downhill, or just enjoying a relaxing day.
Need a break? Stop by the Burg Hotel mountain hut for food and refreshments. Merkur Peak is a perfect destination for families, kids, and thrill-seekers alike!
