I think it’s a huge confidence thing. I think a lot of girls would find it difficult to get on their bike and go to school, especially with the helmet hair, which I was a victim of for years. I think it’s not as normalized as it would be for guys. You definitely see a lot more guys cycling. Some places definitely need an update um in terms of infrastructure for cycling. Cycling is kind of perceived as like uncool, I guess. Like you don’t really see people cycling um especially to school and stuff. The cycling lanes that lead into town make it I think having a social media campaign is really good can reach that demographic of young girls. I think the influencers online are a good role model for young girls es especially like coming up to the teenage years like when most girls would stop cycling. I think role models are really really important to have.
