Hey my friends, there are two things that I think you need to know about this cup holder before you buy it. I’m going to talk about those two things in just a second, but first let me just talk about what it was like to install it and what it’s been like to use it. So, as you can see, it’s holding my AALA bottle. This is a 32 oz water bottle, so it’s got some weight to it and a little bit of size. I just wanted to demonstrate how much it can actually fit. When you get this uh cup holder, it comes in two pieces. So, the first piece is the actual cup holder part. And then the second piece is the clamp. The clamp is easy to put onto the bike. It’s just a twist knob right here. Um, and it comes with a nice little cushion. So, this thing won’t damage the anything on your bike. So, you just put this between the bar and uh the clamp and then it will keep everything nice. The clamp is metal. Um, and it’s built really well and sturdy and the screw is really easy to use. In order to install the clamp onto the actual cup holder, there’s a Velcro flap on the inside. It’s kind of hard to show you, but there’s a Velcro flap on the inside of the cup holder with two Allen wrenches, and it actually comes with the size of Allen wrench that you need to install it. And you just put the screws through and tighten those Allen wrenches down. And, uh, and it’s ready to go. uh as far as having the clamp on it. And then you can just push just push this Velcro strap back down and those screws are covered up so they’re not going to scratch. One, they’re not going to come out uh when you know vibrate loose. And two, um they’re not going to scratch your water bottle or anything that you’re putting inside the cup holder. A couple of the features. So, um, one nice feature is if you have something smaller or smaller cup or smaller bottle or something like that, you do have this cinch that you can cinch it shut. Not completely shut, but you can cinch it down so that things aren’t popping out of the cup holder. And, uh, that’s really useful as well. The exterior is a pretty robust nylon, uh, ballistic nylon, so it should weather really well. So, you also have a drain hole at the bottom just in case it does take on some water uh or some snow or something like that. It’s going to all drain out that little bottom hole and that won’t be an issue. It won’t pull inside. The inside is a soft kind of um nylon uh webbing, not webbing, but a a nice nylon material. So, again, if you’re putting a water bottle in there or whatever, it’s not going to scratch it up. The uh where the clamp This is the biggest difference. And the thing that you ought to know is uh I’ve used a couple of these other ones and it’s not very sturdy where the clamp meets the cup holder. And this one is really sturdy. As soon as that’s screwed in, it is it is really there really really tight. Um and so that’s been helpful to make sure that you know things aren’t flying out, all that sort of stuff. You also have these exterior pockets that are a mesh nylon right here with some elastic at the top. This is nice to just throw small things in like keys or uh wallets or um if you have a smaller phone, you could probably get a smaller phone in these. Uh I can’t get my phone into them, but uh it’s really nice to have all of the additional accessories and places to store things. So, I hope this video has been helpful in figuring out whether or not this is the right uh cup holder for your bike or your motorcycle. We’ve loved having it on the bike.
