[Music] so this is Sunday morning and we just scored some lip Cookin from this adorable Bakery where the lady only spoke German this is a chocolate lip Cookin so flipping good look at the texture of that let me see it is it chocolate yeah it’s got chocolate on the outside wow I mean cannot get more German than [Music] this I’m taking this little road trip and I’ve been very excited about checking out Norberg because it just looked so picturesque so when we came here we got a chance to stop right in the middle of this historic square with this uh back drop behind us this church was built in The 1300s Amazing hotel room I you can’t beat the view this is literally where the famous Christmas Market happens each year in nurburg and this is basically Central to absolutely everything you need to see in nurburg and you could definitely see the city in 24 hours I mean obviously if you have more than that it’s better the food here has been really really good and nurenberg is really famous for some for these little sausages they’re really so delicious and flavorful M so they have these little BR works here that look like breakfast sausages but they’re not so you know we did our homework watching lots of other other people making videos about Norberg and all these different very delicious types of uh German sausages and so we knew that there was a place we had to go get it very first thing that whenever we had the opportunity got a regional beer a regional wine uh pretzel sourkraut sauerkraut it was so delicious then like I said those sausages you cannot find in other parts of Germany it can only be eaten here in Ur yeah there’s some foods here they have little seals on them even just like this Leb Cookin you know it’s like specific to this area you cannot buy it in Munich or Frankfurt and and another thing that I become obsessed with is the something called the Leb Cookin M wow that is gingery it’s so so it has so much flavor oh my God we need to get another one it’s so good oh my God how would you describe it it’s literally packed full of gingerbread flavor you can but all the spices that usually don’t taste you know cardamon cinnamon nutmeg I mean you name it you can taste it so how would you rate it scale of 1 to 10 was really really good better than you thought wasn’t it I want to get a whole in 10 and they’re not open tomorrow with the view it’s all you need that’s it urberg that’s awesome they usually sell drink Christmas time but it’s so famous that they just kind of try to sell it all year long when we came here we didn’t have a big itinerary and we thought all right you know what let’s stop in the Square we knew that we wanted to try you know some of this Leb coping Leb cooking we have some other pastries that we thought these look delicious some of these look like chocolate but they’re actually poppy seed which is pretty wild you know in fact when we said can we have this chocolate one they’re no no no no that’s poppy seed that’s not chocolate so oh wow how how delicious so when we uh arrived we thought okay let’s wander around the square let’s go see the different historic areas and uh let’s just explore and that’s what we did it’s 9:30 and it’s still sunlight actually this is something that’s really great about Europe in summertime is that uh the sun doesn’t set till sometimes 10 p.m. even so that’s really cool I see a nice Sun L and so we worked our way up the hill up to this historic Castle the views of the city from this Castle are spectacular we went there first during the day and then went B later on uh to see the sunset and everyone and the you know all these different people are up there checking out the sunset we also came across very old uh building that they’re currently uh restoring here it’s this Tower so cool yeah and when we were here it was open for everyone just to come in and and check it out and crawl upstairs and it was pretty neat to be able to just kind of climb into this building that’s in the middle of uh renovation and you know you can tell you just feel the history as you’re climbing up this thing oh wow and of course some of the other stuff too we had these different Bridges around town uh you could see like just very picturesque everything I mean it was I wish we were staying here for longer than we are what I found about Norberg is it’s really a just a wonderful surprise you come here and you see all these different sausages and little shops and wonderful types of foods and uh everyone just seems in this kind of great you know just kind of light Lively Spirit last night see everyone just enjoying this kind of summer night and looking over the the sky it was I it’s just a really really special place it’s so actually a place you really wanted to see and at first I was like I don’t know much about new yor but now I really love it I can see why it’s a such a thing one little quick tip for you uh just think about the dates at which you’re going to be here just because of our particular trip we happen to arrive on a Saturday this is Sunday morning and then we’re heading out but because of this region a lot of things are closed on Sundays now if you’re here during the Christmas time you’ll see the shops they have hours in the windows where they actually are open on Sundays uh but that’s like December uh most other times of the year they’re really only open Monday through Saturday so um whenever you’re here you know and you’re thinking about oh you want to go check out all these places you know uh may be something to kind of plan around in the case you’re going to be in this area on a Sunday you may not be able to enjoy quite as much lot of things will be close so definitely if you’re in the area definitely check out this hotel it’s really nice and then like that it’s Central to everything and just come check out nurg and enjoy some good food [Music]

When coming close to the railway station, ensure you're wearing an anti-knife protection jacket !
You should visit Stuttgart especially during Christmas season
I enjoy the closed Sunday. The city is so calm and less busy.
Men of culture meet in Nuremberg

Ciao, beautiful City, many greetings to you all from brunswick in Germany and please stay safe π
What's the name of the hotel please?
Nuremberg is in Frankonia, a part of Bavaria and not at all representative for all of Germany! A common mistake uneducated tourists make!
You captured its old-world beauty so wellβIβm sure those 24 hours were unforgettable! Canβt wait to see more of your travels! ππ½β¨
Exemplary Video! Have you been to other prominent parts of Europe like France and Italy?
What a nice video about my hometown! Maybe we'll meet next time you're here! β€
So funny. I'm currently in New York with my daughter, who lives here, and we're going on a tour to the crown of the Statue of Liberty, so I watched your video about it. Now I've come across this NΓΌrnberg video! A video from my hometown! I'm from Offenburg – Black forest! Love your videos! Thanks and many greetings β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
You can definitely eat and buy those foods anywhere, not just in Germany, but to get this seal they need to be made in Nuremberg. It's the EU seal of "Protected Designation of Origin" that certain regional specialities get. And the trainstation is not that bad, I'm there everyday travelling to and from work. It can be a little bit sketchy at night, but mainly crimes happen within the "criminal circles" and not to tourists or normal travelers. So as long as you don't provoke or want to buy drugs, you're pretty safe π
And the church you showed is actually St. Sebald church, St. Lorenz is on the other side of the market place
Nuremberg has my favorite Christkindlmarkt
