There are several routes in the Arden region of Belgium where you can go rail biking along old railroad tracks. Don’t worry, these tracks are out of service and being repurposed in a pretty cool way. I’ve enlisted another traveler who’s headed from the station in Fain to Meritsu Abbey, home to Benedicting monks who make cheese on site and serve a beer to thirsty pilgrims and travelers. Abbeby breweries and especially Trappist breweries are a popular stop for travelers in Belgium. So take to the tracks, carbo load and pray a bend on this Belgium rail biking adventure.
