This awesome and battered Genesis Tour de Fer belongs to Jamie Cross, who has just completed a 15,000 mile journey from Alaska to South America.
This is the bike back at Pickering’s Bikes in Measham, Leicestershire ready for a well earned service and clean ahead of another adventure.
have you ever wondered what a bike looks like after 15,000 miles riding from Alaska to South America well check this out this is a Genesis to ofur that belongs to James cross on Instagram and it’s back in Jack and day’s shop for well quite a lot of work I’d imagine after an immense cycle trip it’s quite interesting to see how bike like this survives such a massive Adventure I’m going to be honest I think it looks better for it but it has had one hell of a hard time look at all the wear let’s check out those chain Rings it’s nice seeded it without a Gucci group set just a bit of Sora bit of nine-speed bombproof choice what he gone for tires wise bit of Kender just look at the wear on it absolutely awesome couple of good stickers totally approve have to keep going back to the BART tape though we got two different types got some what’s left is some per perforated leatherette on one side some a bit fresher on the other side let’s have a look at the hoods Oh my days look at them fantastic is it weird that I like it more now it’s worn in bloody awesome

looks cleaner than my bike tbh
Sora and Claris might be considered bottom of the pile groupsets (okay, they are) but they can't half stand up to some abuse, ham-fisted gear changes etc. Built to be used and abused, as is the bike. Stood up quite well I think
Looks like Ur face
