New York Deli and uber again sneakly adds a waitorse which at the time i had no idea about. I get to New York Deli i click picked up and some how it thinks i picked up a Waitrose which i am nowhere near i get confused thinking its a double New York Deli pickup i go back to them and that is when i find out. I click i picked up The New York deli after that. I get to the customer and it turns out she wanted a Waitrose delivery which i did not have, Clearly she was not happy understandably. I try to contact Uber support waiting over 20 mintues !!! i then give up and just cancel the Waitrose drop off which i had not idea about until was to late. The New York deli delivery was another 5 miles away by time i would get there the food could be cold which i am not gonna to do so i cancel the delivery. Both customer should got a refund or it redelivered. My delivery fee was reduced 60% 10:19am. 8mins 53secs. 0.27miles. £5.80

I’ve got a delivery request for Greg’s. So hopefully it’s not coffee. Probably is going to be coffee. Greg’s coffee. It’s heading there now. Here we are at Greg’s. I was waiting in there for like 15 minutes. Just give up. Just got a request for McDonald’s. I’m going to do that. That’s paying a bit more on delivery. That was ridiculous. Wasn’t even busy in there. Won’t be picking up from there again. Turn right and your destination will be on the right. Not a chance in hell. McDonald’s is here. Hopefully, it’s ready. Okay, so that went a lot easier than the Greg’s pickup. 3.6 miles. Great. I thought it was closer than that. Oh, sun is bright. Just trying to see if there’s a quicker way. This is a bit quicker by the road. The bicycle route, it was showing a much longer route. Oh, bit of a nightmare here. Seriously. But the McDonald’s was a really quick pickup actually, funny enough. And the Gregs served about It was really quiet. I served three customers and still wasn’t uh sorting out my order. So yeah, not hanging around that long. That’s just ridiculous. So good job I took the McDonald’s one and it’s paying a bit more. It might be going it might be going further. These roads here are probably more busier than I’m used to, to be honest. Seems more busier than the Oxford roads I’m used to. Not sure I’ll be coming here again. See how it goes. We got 2.1 miles to go. This is actually going to another settlement like out of this this town. Looks like it’s going towards the Ridgeway actually. Stoke Mandeville. That’s where I’m going. It’s beautiful. Look at the skyline of Alsbury, folks. So, I’ve actually just got across the coffee uh delivery request. It’s with Uber Eatats this time. Hopefully it’s ready. Do you know even if I just pay enough money to clear the the train fair. Just think of it as a day out. So this is out the town out of the old town. This cost a coffee. So Tesco goes here as well. Could get some coffee. Of course I’ve got to bring my I got coffee back at home. Energy joint drink. Then turn left under Victoria Street. Oh, it’s not going that far actually. Hopefully it’s straightforward, right? Hopefully I can get the bike through here. I’m taking it as a bike route. Seems to be a bike route. It’s path going down here side of Tesco’s. Yep. Probably better me coming here on a Sunday, I think, than a Saturday. The roads be less uh I’m hope hoping they would be less hectic and the town will probably be less busy. Do not want to knock the coffee over and it’s only like just going across the road. So, that’ll be pretty pretty bad if I destroy the coffee in such a short distance. you know, the bicycle routes are sometimes nowhere near as good as the um the actual road roots. Road roots are sometimes a lot faster cuz they’re smoother and there’s no no obstacles. So, going over the Grand Union Canal now. You’re not going to be able to see it cuz it’s a road bridge. really got to keep an eye on the battery cuz I’ve already used quite a bit battery power cuz I’ve said how cold it is and I need to get back to the train station which is not actually in this town. I could have got a train all the way here, but it would have been even more money. So, very expensive to get here. So, it’s not a place I’d normally go delivering, but I just thought, yeah, for the video today, hopefully I can get across this uh roundabout without getting killed. Hate these roundabouts. That was a Greg’s Uber Eats delivery request. Not a chance in hell, mate. So, got 0.2 miles to first pickup points with supermarket. We’re only doing Oh, that’s the one that’s going up there. No chance. and Subway. Where subway wants to give me £348 to pick up a subway? It might be ready. See if it’s ready. Right. So, I didn’t pick up that. Right. We’re going to pick up from Iceland, but I think it’s going quite far. close, then turn right. Well, I say wasteland, it’s the uh food warehouse. The food warehouse. Yeah, that’s what it’s called. Hopefully, it’s not a shitload of bottles of water because I’m just not going to do that. Probably still not even made my train fair back. This whole crazy today has been and I’ve already used just about one battery. I think I need to change the battery over actually. That’s not going too far. Actually, it’s not going too far. It’s just very heavy. I’m glad it’s it’s paying okay actually for the distance. So, I’m glad I took it. I was almost thinking, no, I ain’t taking that, mate. But, I’m glad I did. And so I I presumed that I was just picking up this takeaway and it’s obviously not showing me the uh Waitro one and it’s put it as I’ve picked it up and back. Do you think you should show me first? That’s all I thought it was, but apparently it was Waitros as well, but somehow it confirmed that I picked up the Waitros. I went to the customer. I didn’t have the Waitro order. And she was thinking I’m trying to rob it. She was like saying, “Oh, you’re being recorded, Richard.” And all this. I was like, “Well, I’m recording my deliveries as well.” Like, and um the thing is I don’t I haven’t got it. I didn’t pick it up for some reason. It just said I picked it up. I don’t know if anyone’s ever had that happen, so I had to cancel it. And in the end, I’ve just canceled the other part of the delivery cuz I don’t know how much I’m going to get paid for that. And he wanted me to go five miles. So, just canceled the delivery and I’m going back now. Let someone else deliver it. Had enough. Being accused of stealing like shopping, having a laugh. Not putting up road. Not putting up with that. No, I don’t can’t say I’ll be back here in any time soon doing any deliveries, unfortunately. In all, it’s been a it’s been a good experience, but I don’t think I’m going to be back purely because it costs so much money to get here. I made £2365 on Uber Eats and £14 96 on Deliveroo and my train ticket cost what £18. So I probably made about not even 20 profit and I got a bunch of um aggroy for it as well.
