We E-Bike on the Alpe-Adria Bicycle Trail, one of the most beautiful and popular cycling routes not only in the Alps, but in all of Europe.
It connects Salzburg, located on the northern edge of the Alps, with Grado on the Italian Adriatic coast. We will cycle the southern half of this unique route on this fantastic tour.

Are you a keen ebiker and want to ride through three beautiful countries in the company of great people? Well, ebike Italy, Austria, and Slovenia could be the tour for you. Hi, I’m Andy Paige, your tour leader for this active ebike trip, and I took this tour in 20123 and loved it so much I had to repeat it. After a few more details, I’ll share my top highlights of this trip. We start the bike ride in Austria besides a beautiful lake. This village is perfect in every way. From we head off into Italy via an old railroad. Tunnels and viex await us. You don’t need to be concerned by hills or slopes as the top quality ebikes we use have two batteries and are wellmaintained. As we cycle along, the support vehicle is not far away should we need it. In Italy, we head down from the footholds of the Alps to the Adriatic Sea on the famous Alp Adria. The most wonderful cycle way I have ever been on. Smooth, wide, and safe. Passing through stunning countryside. We cycle through villages and we’ll have time for some quality control on the coffee and Italian food. At Grado, Italy, we have a rest day and when we’re quite refreshed, we head off into Slovenia. Many people have heard of Croatia. Well, Slovenia is right next door and a gem of a country. Our final destination is Lake Bled, the most romantic place on the planet with a special island and local legends. So, some of the highlights. One, just being in Austria is wonderful and everywhere you look, it’s majestic. Two, waking up in Italy and knowing a beautiful bike ride is ahead of us today. Three, eating the original custard squares in Lake Bled. magic.
