can we all agree that this is the coolest city in Europe officially here is your ultimate guide on things to do in Berlin only locals know for this I met up with Berlin Marina who showed me hidden gems I would have never found as a normal tourist starting with a phone booth disco yep so this is literally why I love Berlin you pay €4 choose a song and then party inside a phone booth whilst getting your picture taken super fun and you can find the T discos all around the city next coffee shops but not just any we went to lap which has to be the most affordable coffee shop in Berlin you can get a drink here from as as €2 which is unheard of and it’s stylish and delicious and now let’s talk about food the best donor which is a must eat in Berlin is Zagros in cburg and I can only agree we also checked out the stunning cocello for their decor and pasta dishes the super pretty Mina restaurant which is next to the Berlin Wall in case you wanted to see that too and for a drink you can either go to the HZ Mark which is so cool and very Berlin or to the secret Bellboy cocktail bar for peculiar cocktails in an opulent setting

LAP is super bad for local coffee shops. Its a new chain in Germany, thats owned by a big investor, the reason its so cheap is because the company is rich enough to sell at a loss. The goal is to get all of the local coffee shops to go bankrupt to create a monooly and then start selling worse coffee for more money.
LAP is basically one of the biggest gentrifiers in Berlin and id suggest checking out local cafes even tho the coffee might be a bit more expensive.
Obviously the plan was: pick places no Berliner knows, let the locals rage-type their corrections, and watch the engagement increase 🕺💬

a city is not just a cafe or or abundance of disco places… talk about how much affordable housing, job market, ease of doing business, expat community and etc. You can find mediocre fun in almost all modern cities, but integrity, opportunities, and ability to find like minded people is the measurement. Have been to Berlin just once, and from my modest experience, Berlin is nice, but we should not enforce purely personal opinion on which city is the coolest in Europe on others. Berlin is a very nice, and I would say even awesome tho

If Berlin is the coolest city to you, you either have very low standards or havent been out much. But thanks for the Zagros tip. I livenext door, but havent tried it. I never even heard of it. It must have just opened recently. Ill give it a try, why not. But wait, of all the bars in Berln, you choose Bellboy?!? You mean, the one attached to the Berlin Hilton hotel?!??? Secret? How is that a secret. Even for 5star hotel bars, Cookies and Cream is more of a secret, because as a bike messnger of ten years, it took me about five minutes to even find the entrance. Bellboy is literally on the bottom corner of Gendarmemarkt. Id like to have a word with your so-called Berlin expert
