Saying goodbye to Anu and Totti and leaving the awesome house for the last leg in Finland. Rode about 85 kilometers to a suburb of Helsinki where I had another Airbnb apartment. Realised I never had to use the tent in Finland, had amazing places to stay all the way to Helsinki.

good morning guys so already starting to pick up here some other stuff here saying goodbye to the awesome house here thank you very much I’ll new for letting me stay there’s really nice thank you thank you very much so I want to show you the house a little bit more it’s very nice and cozy er all things and all that nice place we just had breakfast it’s very nice so yeah I’m picking up my stuff here as you can see so get some bags and then I’m off to Helsinki capital of Finland my I think my third capital right now I think so and then it’s about 100 kilometers so that should be due and I’m oh man they were so nice again like amazing people also her house was so beautiful so so old and yet all that stuff everywhere these small little things and I think they’re all like small little memories was a great place to stay at and of course the Finnish sauna was also quite nice yeah I really like this who will say it was amazing that’s awesome so yeah so far the tent hasn’t been used yet in Finland and actually I’m not gonna use it at all today I’ll make my way to Helsinki which is about 100 kilometers I left at 10 o’clock so I think I’ll be riding in the dark soon well soon I think I’ll just write it in the dark but no I think that’s ok and then I’ve never even be there for 3 nights I think 3 or 4 nights from Wednesday to Saturday that’s nice I can do some work also explore the city a little bit they pointed out some locations that I have to visit in the Helsinki so I’ll do that and yeah I’m just really looking forward to it it is nice to stay in these people but after a while you do want to have a place on your own you know – really I can do whatever I want you know even though they were they were so nice they gave me breakfast they gave me dinner they gave me so many great things and just kind of sucks that I can’t really give him anything in return I mean I’ve got I’ve got those chaps steaks from from Roy that I can hand out to people from this company so I can spread the word a little bit but it still it’s yeah still it’s I hope that by documenting it for you guys that I can inspire you guys to go out and have your own adventures and now maybe you can start a YouTube channel and then you come to these guys places say thanks you’ve hit the bar – four she she watches the vlogs regularly and she said I got the family in Finland and do you want to stay with them but I said why not you know why not and that way I had two free nights amazing awesome really awesome I don’t notice that feel was flat so I’m taking a little lunch break here and I want to show you this finish it’s actually brilliant hi so some Karelia and I’ve had this this morning at breakfast and also last morning yesterday and they’re really good like they actually they actually had some egg yes I’m like scrambled eggs but my wife and they put it on here so good but also like this it they’re made of bread and on the inside there’s like rice or something that’s yeah it’s interesting but it’s really good all right so I just arrived here Scotty wait it’s 3/8 and then it’s number four Cisco nein that’s I just already went up there it’s not what I thought I thought it was another just another uh you’re basically with someone in someone’s house there’s an extra room and that’s what it is anyways let’s get the bike unloaded because it’s quite a few stairs off and you’re doing it an elevator a sex pit alright so I’m in my room well it looks like all my stuff just came in the guys really nice my chill you him tomorrow but all right now I’m wife’s like I think I did 90 kilometres some like that I think it was about 90 kilometers to here we’re actually not in Helsinki itself right next to it in that place called ESPO so it’s not really in the city centre but it’s close by so that will be yeah that’s pretty nice it’s 30 euros a night I got a place on my own but behind the door that’s basically you know shared room except it’s pretty nice kid you know that kind of stuff I might choke tomorrow but I already had dinner tonight in the city or in a place that I went to but yeah I made it it’s pretty incredible that I made it to Helsinki like you know and I’m gonna save you for 3 nights and then Saturday next Saturday’s race Wednesday Saturday I’ll head to Tallinn so I’ll go to country number 7 I guess crazy absolutely crazy yeah that’s pretty cool I think I think teller is gonna be pretty awesome I’m telling I want to try something else because I wanted to go to hostel yeah because I haven’t done that in a while you know I’m using this Airbnb a lot which is nice but I don’t know there’s something to houses that I like kinda and I kind of Miss that so the woman that you saw this morning the woman that hosted me a place she recommended me Hostel in telling it’s mine maybe like 15 euros a night or something so I might take that one for three or four days and they’ll be nice so yeah that’s the plan but for here I think tomorrow I’ll take a day off just do some work yeah I’m pretty white do some work and relax a little bit because yeah last few days have been quite some adventures and I’m really grateful for that it has been amazing thing gonna have a good night’s sleep idea for the rest by car looks pretty nice my rear tire is having trouble I don’t know what it is but it goes up and down up and down and you’re kind of like it’s kind of like you’re on a bumpy road even though you’re just on the flat road and it was the same in Norway and then it kind of went away and now it’s back basically so it’s not good so I think I’m gonna replace my tires finally with some swell we marathon tires but I’m gonna do that in mist onea because it’s cheaper to here so yeah that’s that’s what I’m gonna do yeah here will basically be doing some work and also some sightseeing but I don’t know what the weather will be like over the next couple of days and I think I’ll pick out the best day to go to the city self and do some sightseeing because there are some quite cool spots and there are some full of here like this one is swarming mina sea fortress it’s kind of like it’s kind like what we would I visited in Turku but it’s a little different I think I think it’s a little bigger because you know the city’s a little bigger and that kind of stuff so I think that’s pretty good and yeah I gotta say the best couple of days have been quite quite amazing um I again has to think if it’s important for this she hooked me up with these people and then first these people actually thought that I knew we’ve had the bar too that she knew that I was a safe guy but when they realized that um I was actually first I want staying at Matilda’s house Matilda’s mom she realized that I didn’t know any better and then she thought okay so there’s a stranger Matilda’s house that’s very interesting I kind understand that you know I’m a good guy I I don’t I would like to say that for myself but I mean I don’t have anything bad in my mind to do these people you know so uh yeah I was so good really it was I was an amazing experience Finland has been very very great to me like wow it’s time to it’s time to move on to the next countries and yeah eventually on my way home it’s kinda like this kinda like the end stretch how do you call it the end stretch final Sprint’s last miles well there’s still quite a bit I mean I still the other three countries I mean yeah that’s quite a quite a bit but I think we’re gonna make it so yeah say guys that’s about it for this video please like the video if you liked it please leave a Although we didn’t see much scenery it was a good video. I have one question though. Was is your average speed? Let’s say for a 70 -100 km trip.
Oooowh Karelian Pie (Riisipiirakka) with Egg butter is soooooo good, we always eat that when we are in Suomi. It's easy to made, I made it here in Holland myself, soooo good. And the eggbutter you simply made with some not to hard boiled eggs en butter.
I hate camping with a tent. That's why my long distance touring plans involve a motorhome and a bicycle. That way I am sure I'll always have a decent bed to sleep on 🙂
