Picked up this old Japanese road (touring?) bike up for free and I’m wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it? Any info on the components?
Seems like like a low end bike dressed up as a higher end bike. Beautiful lugs, stamped rear dropouts, low/mid components, and what feels like its probably high tensile tubing (not seeing any decals to the contrary)
The suntour friction drivetrain and lugs are what convinced me to bring it home. Love the Minneapolis bike coop decal! Tempted to throw comfy bars on it and ride it as a chill/dad tour bike.
Any idea on the date? Suntour seven compatible with other drivetrains?
