🇫🇷The island in France you need to visit…
⛴️A short ferry ride from La Tour Fondue, and suddenly you’re surrounded by turquoise water and golden light. The kind of place that makes you wonder if you’re still in Europe at all.
🥾After arriving, I set off on a walk across the island, about an hour through pine forests, vineyards, and quiet paths, all leading to one of the most stunning beaches I’ve seen in France: Notre Dame Beach. Powdery sand, crystal-clear water, and that wild, untouched vibe that feels like the Caribbean.
🛥️ Practical tips:
• Ferries leave regularly from La Tour Fondue (Hyères peninsula), and the ride takes about 20 minutes.
• The beach is about a 1h walk from the port, but you can also rent bikes to explore the island.
• Bring food and plenty of water with you, facilities are limited once you leave the port area.
✨If you’re planning a trip to the South of France, this is a spot you’ll never forget.
