S:2025 E:9 – Riding through the Northern Adirondack Mountains around dark lakes on pristine roads, St. Albans – Rouses Point – Loon Lake – Lake Clear – Saranac Lake – Lake Placid – High Falls Gorge – Wind Farms – Plattsburg – Island Ferry – St. Albans

I’m going to the Adi Rondex today. Crossing the lake at uh Rous’s Point. Then heading west on route 11 towards Malone. Then via Olset to the Suronak Lakes. There I have a nice coffee break at the Blue Moon Cafe. Then via Lake Bless Line Mountains. I’m taking the ferry near Platsburg to the islands and then from there back home. Good morning. It’s um about4 to 5 and it’s a very cold morning. It’s not a very long ride. It’s about 310 miles and I should be home by yeah between 3 and 4:00 latest. So coffee is ready, be juices are there, a laptop is open and and off we go. So just before I went outside, I checked the temperature again and it’s only 50°. That is very cold for July. Okay, let’s go. Bunnies are running around. Welcome to New York. This cute little town is called Ros’s Point. And I Googled how to pronounce that. It’s not rouses. It’s the loosest point according to [Music] [Music] [Music] It is actually a very cool road. [Music] Not really a place where I want to have a flat tire. Even sure if he has cell phone connection. [Music] [Music] So that’s the town of Sarinak Lake. Let me see if I find a coffee. Blue Moon Cafe. This sounds perfect, but it’s close. Oh no. Oh yeah. Okay, that’s where I’m going. [Music] [Music] I’m going to give you this. So I’m now here in Sauron Lake. Very cute coffee store called Originian Coffee. And of course a nice lucky. I need probably 30 40 minutes to warm up completely frozen. But coffee will help. And then next up will be Lake Bless. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Hey. Hey. Hey. Heat. Hey, Heat. Hallelujah. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] There must be hundreds of those wind farms of winter. So that’s a famous Damora prison where two guys escaped. [Music] They got later caught. [Music] Hello. 85. Okay. Three. Pardon? Three. Okay. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Another [Music] great riding day comes to an end and I’m coming home safe and sound. [Music] Oh, the lemon poop in a mousy line.
