This is my first full bike renovation ever.

I took on this project as something meaningful to focus on while being off work due to prolonged stress and anxiety, recently diagnosed with ADHD later in life.

This bike turned out to be a real challenge. Every little part seemed to hide new problems and pushed me to constantly learn new techniques, gain knowledge, and build hands-on experience. I'm especially proud of disassembling the internal gear hub, servicing it completely, and getting it right on the first try.

The frame, fork, and other metal parts were fully stripped and repainted with proper preparation – priming, painting, and clear coating, all according to the materials used. I focused on keeping as many original parts as possible to keep the project as green and sustainable as I could. I even chose to keep most of the scratches and wear, to preserve the story the bike carries.

I’m still unsure whether anyone would actually want to buy a bike like this?
I’m not a trained bike mechanic, just someone learning by doing. But it rides completely silent, with zero issues, which honestly blows my mind, especially considering it’s my first ever full renovation.

Everything I’ve learned came from people sharing their knowledge online, YouTube videos, forum posts, blog guides. So to everyone out there who shares and helps others learn, thank you so much!

Best regards from Denmark
