🚴♂️ Cycling from London to Amsterdam for GroceryAid! 🇬🇧➡️🇳🇱
This wasn’t just any bike ride — I took on the challenge of cycling from London to Amsterdam to raise money for GroceryAid, a charity that supports people across the grocery industry when they need it most.
The journey was tough, but every mile was worth it to support such an important cause. Along the way, I captured the highs, the lows, and the incredible scenery that made this ride unforgettable.

The day is here. The day we are cycling from London to Amsterdam. Well, we’re cycling tomorrow, but today um we are heading to London, staying overnight and cycling there tomorrow in the thunderstorms. But first, I am heading down to track to drop off the gravel bike cuz it needs a hub service, I believe. And to get them to run through the Liv just once more because something ain’t right. Something’s never right. You know what I mean? Okay. So, here is a just a little bit of coffee before we go. All sorts. Porridge pops. And we are off on the grocery aid cycle. First puncture of the day. Yeah, absolutely. We have made it to food stop number one. Quite a few punctures, quite a few mechanicals, but the rain has held off. Thank god. [Music] [Applause] We have been incredibly lucky with the weather today. It was meant to be really grim this morning, but it’s kind of dry somehow. Lots of pretty bikes. We’re not far from feed stop number three now and someone has got another puncture tubus all the way move out the way and we are at the end. We have had a shower and we are just chilling out now with a Pepsi Max which is lovely. The sun’s come out. It’s glorious. I can’t I literally can’t grumble. It’s actually been quite a spectacular day. And that is day one done and dusted. Absolutely. Absolutely. Just feel really grateful to be able to do something like this. And now we’ve had dinner and we are waiting for the ferry to arrive. How exciting. Oh dear. Why am I not surprised? That is my first night on a ferry done. surprisingly comfy and surprisingly good night’s sleep. Bit weird when you wake up in the middle of the night and you can literally feel it moving, but there we go. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Little morning here while we wait for them to disembark the bikes and we just off to find a coffee. Little and it is honestly stunning here today. It’s so sunny. 2 hours behind schedule and we are off. Um praying my bike works today. [Laughter] [Music] [Applause] [Music] We are now in the H. We are heading to Rotterdam or Amsterdam. It could be anywhere. [Music] It’s north north of Amsterdam. [Music] [Music] We’re at this point of the day and that is food stop number two done. Thank God for that. I feel much more human again now. [Music] Oh my goodness. I just had the first pre-workout I’ve ever had in my life and my whole body is tingling. Feel like I’m having an out of body experience. Don’t recommend. [Music] Oh, wow. This is a bit of a special room. Special. This is dinner tonight. Looks lovely. And it is mostly gluten-free. Well, not this lovely stuff, but they’ve um made me a gluten-free starter and also some gluten-free pasta. [Music] [Music] and it’s the start of day three. [Music] We have a gluten-free banana pancake. It’s coming down. Coming down slowly. [Music] And we’re in Amsterdam. And we are finishing the day with a little run around Amsterdam. It might be a little one, might be 5K. We’ll find out. And it’s the final bit of the trip. And here we have the room for the final day. Also beautiful. Oh, it’s Albert Heine. I’ve never been here before. Oh, it’s so cool here. Just popping out for a little strolly rolly. I’m getting some pit loos. My favorite. [Applause] Happy birthday to you. It’s the final day, the final buffet. They really they really love these little donuts over here, which is really cool. And we’ve got bagels and cheese. And we are on step one from Amsterdam to Paris. We are in Paris. That’s incredible. [Music] Yip. [Music]
