Today i used my „Bio“ cargobike from Velolab, handmade in Bremen, to commute. This is the case, when the online parcel Mountain in my office is getting to high over the weeks 😂.
Nice ride but a little bit slower besides my other „normal“ bikes. But hey, i dont have to take the car 😏👍

Congratulations on your purchase! You won’t regret it. I bought a cargo bike 14 years ago and still use it regularly.
As for being slower than normal bikes, you need to ask yourself how much cargo the normal bikes are carrying. BTW the cargobike I have is a tricycle and that is much slower.
That looks solid but subtile. Not like any other bike from Germany. I love it.
If you ever need speed you can always put some faster ebike parts on it. Then you’ll never use your car any more.
It is more Like a Normal bike and not that Slow but Indeed if loaded you Carry a lot more Kilos/lbs…. But it is a lot of fun to ride. A few years ago i used it to bring my son to the Kindergarten 😏👍
