The Black Country in the West Midlands is an often overlooked part of Britain with rich industrial heritage that has now fallen on hard times. Within the town of Tipton lies the notorious and somewhat introverted Moat Farm Estate known locally as ‘The Lost City’. The estate has very poor statistics for poverty and a reputation for high crime and danger. I was intrigued and had to explore.

In my opinion, the people of the Black Country are the most down to earth and genuine people you will find in Britain. They call a spade a spade and never fail to entertain. I ventured into the notorious Lost City and mingled with the locals. Who did I meet and what did I find?

You go and stab him, which is right because what do the police do? They get him in release. I can’t believe this, man. I can’t believe I met you. I was, mate. You mean your mate? I can’t believe I met you. I was looking for you. I know. Oh, before I start today’s video, folks, I don’t want to start off on a sour note, but every time I come down here for Black Country Route, this must be the most disgustingly littered. Look at that. stretch of road in Britain. It’s like an African slum. Nothing against Africa. Where’s the pride? Horrendous. Anyway, I’m driving into Wolverampton. We’ll start the video there. Welcome to sunny Wolverampton. It’s sort of sunny, although a bit fresh. I think I’m a bit underdressed. We’re not going to stick around in Wolverampton for long. Some would say that’s a wise idea, but Wolverampton, the best thing you can do is get out of it. I think that’s a bit cruel. I’ve got a lot of fond memories of this town. We’re going to head back over to the Black Country cuz I’ve filmed twice in the Black Country before at Dudley and Bilston, but I haven’t checked out Tipton and more specifically a notorious estate in Tipton known as the Lost City. So, I’m going to make my way through the town center, jump on public transport, and get over to the Black Country, the home of industry, postindustrial now, and in some ways struggling, but full of fantastic people. I love filming in this neck of the woods. Let’s do it. Tipton, the Black Country awaits. So, I’m just on my way to the bus station and what a wonderful site for me. When I was a student in Wolverampton, I used to come and eat at the Spudley Street van, the jacket potato van here in Wolverampton. You used to serve me. You won’t remember me. I probably did. Yeah. How long have you had the I’ve been here over 20 years. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And I always came here because it was great value and they always gave you a spud and a half. So, this Spud man that’s on the buddy uh Tik Tok and all that now, I guarantee he was he he was probably in primary school when you were doing the best jacket potatoes in Wolverampton. Still better than him. Still better. Still better than a spudman. Still better than Spudman. 100%. People you look on Facebook with him and there’s people saying he’s still better than still better than SP. Yeah. Yeah. This got me through university 3 years. Spud day keeps the doctor away. So if you’re in Wolverampton, come to Spudley Street. It is an institution here on the high street run by wonderful people. Thank you. There you go. Glad I’m not in need of a convenience right now. Sorted out. Wolverampton Council and people that litter it and make a mess of it. Sorted out. I’m going to check out the lost city. I I’ve been there for a different a long time. Yeah. I have been there for a long time. I’m quite interested in the industry and then I’m quite interested cuz my hero Steve comes from Tipton as well from the lost city. So he opened the shop over there a couple of weeks ago. Yeah. He’s been a good local lad. Like he hasn’t forgotten about the town. No, no, no. Famous success. Loyal war. Yeah. You know, couple of chances to leave and he didn’t leave. No, he did. I got to ask you, how do you get a Patty Power hat? Yeah. They just give them your They give them you. I don’t know. If I walk in, do I get one? I don’t know whether they got any left. I’d love a Patty Power hat. Just ask. I don’t have I got to put a bet on now. No, no, no. I’m going to go and ask. Go and get me a Patty Power hat, mate. You haven’t got any other Patty Power Woolly hats left, have you? Oh, no. Oh, okay. I’d love one of those, but never mind. I’ll try a different Patty Power. Now, I’m sure many of you are wondering how Wolverampton got its slightly odd and unique name. Well, it’s not named after a pack of hungry feral wolves or after the famous Wolverampton wondrous football team, but it’s named after that lady who stands at the top of the steps here and that’s Lady Wolfrun. And the city, the town as it was, was founded in 985 AD. That’s how old this place is. You lot that watch me, many of you from the United States or Australia or other places in the new world. 985 AD. No wonder Wolverampton looks a bit past its best. It’s been around a while. You were dressed so nicely and I thought I should ask this lady for an interview. Thank you very much. It’s Mothering Sunday. That’s why I’m Oh, happy Mothering Sunday. Yeah, I’m sure I’m sure someone’s very proud of you, my love. It does make me a bit sad every time I come back and visit Wolverampton. It’s certainly not the place it was, but the memories are there. So, that’s what keeps bringing me back. And I love the people. And I love the people. And I love the people. But I am going to warn you folks when we get to the Black Country. I know I’ve made some videos in the States and Jamaica and other places recently where it ain’t going to be as exotic. It ain’t going to be as pleasing on the eye over in Tipton in the Black Country. But I promise by the end of the video, I will have found some local legends, best people in the world, proper Black Country folk. You look like a bench full of people that might know the buzzes. Do you know the buzzes, folks? I haven’t lived around here for years. Do you Do you have to get the train to Typton? Like it says you can get the the metro down. The metro? Where’s the metro? Over there. Here. Just there. [Music] So that old geyser at Wolverampton bus station told me I could get the metro, the tram to Tipton. So I jumped on it and it goes nowhere near Tipton. So now I’ve got a 2 and a half mile walk from Wensbury Parkway to the heart, the industrial heartland of the Black Country. But it’s a nice day for it. So, let’s explore the wonderful sights, smells, and sounds and chicken shops maybe and off licenses of the Black Country. I’m excited to be back. Let’s do it. So, I’m sure many of you that watch this channel are currently asking the question, where the hell is Tipton? And why the hell is Tipton important? Well, Tipton is between Wolverampton and Birmingham in the West Midlands in an area called the Black Country. And I’ve filmed in this area a couple of times before, but the Black Country was very much one of the pulsing heartlands of industry when the United Kingdom was thriving in its industrial revolution. And between the late 18th and early 20th century centuries I should say this area particularly Tipton was the home to much industry and it created a unique culture that I can’t find anywhere else. crisscrossed all around the Black Country of the industrial canals. They’re a legacy of the industrial history of this area and there are wonderful respite for the people that live in these very urban areas of a little bit of nature, a little bit of wildlife. The Black Country is a unique and often overlooked area of England right smackbang in the center. heavily industrialized steel works, coal works, lock making, glass works. This area was so important to the forging and growth of the nation. And that’s what gives the residents, the people of the Black Country, that unique sense of pride and character, which I’m sure we’ll uncover when we have a look around the lost city today. The canals aren’t as upkept as they should be. This one’s actually not that bad, but some of them are a right tip. A cut as they’re known locally. I’ve got upside down shopping trolley in and full of fly tipping, but luckily I’ve happened upon a relatively scenic one. How are you, mate? I’m making a video about Tipton. Go on, get on here. So, you’re the first life I’ve come across in Tipton. Yeah. How’s things, man? Yeah. Tell me about Tipton. I’m making a video about Tipton. I’m watching on YouTube. Do you watch YouTube? No, I don’t. You’re better off for it not watching. You been everywhere in America and everything. I go everywhere. And now I’m in Tipton. I appreciate you watching, mate. How’d you get here? Coming on the tram. Got off at Wbury. Massive walk. I’m just walking around. Yeah. I can’t believe this. I appreciate you recognizing me, mate. I do. I watch you all the time. Appreciate it, man. I swear. Yeah. No way. Wendle. Wendle. Exploring exploring Tipton. Take a picture. Oh, you got to do that, ain’t you? Yeah. There we go. Are you filming? There you go. I’m in Tipton, mate. I know, man. I can’t believe you’re here. I can’t believe I’m here either. Is there any content in Tipton? What do you mean? Anything to film? Any people to talk to? What’s What’s going on in Tipton? [ __ ] [ __ ] up. I can’t believe you. I can’t. I swear I met you, man. No worries, mate. Yeah. No, no, I’m pretty. Yeah, I’m just an idiot with a camera, mate. Yeah. Oh, I’m just tired to [ __ ] man. Oh, yeah. [ __ ] you. Best to sleep then. Yeah. Yeah. If I can. Don’t have too many of them in the day. I know. Yeah. Put me back. Nothing gets done. What you betted on? Yeah. I put horses. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don’t win though. Nobody ever wins in the end, mate. Yeah. I can’t believe I’m here. I can’t believe I’m here either. Yeah. Yeah. [ __ ] Wendy. Nice to chat to you, mate. I’m going to see what else I can bump into. What’s his name again? Danny places. Oh, yeah. Has he been around? I took him to I took him to the pie factory. I took him to Dudley. Yeah. He couldn’t understand a word anyone was saying cuz he’s from up north. Yeah. Yeah, mate. Yeah. I love it around here. People are like People are really friendly. I can’t believe this, man. I can’t believe I met you. Oh, we just met you. You me? I can’t believe I met you. I was looking for you. I know. Oh, see folks, that’s the warm welcome. You’re getting tipped to the friendliest people. You don’t see ponies roaming on a housing state everywhere you go in Britain. Welcome to the lost city, folks. It was built, the moat farm housing estate was built in the 1920s to replace some of the substandard housing that had grown around the heavy industrial growth in the area. but it was very cut off from the rest of the West Midlands and hence it was dubbed the lost city. It was also quite a notorious area in the ’90s. This was one of the roughest estates in the West Midlands and even now it has a much higher crime rate compared to the local vicinity and a very high level of poverty. So this is the face of the postindustrial black country folks. Let’s see what the lost city is like. We found it. It’s not lost to this channel. What’s it like down there? It intrigues me. A place called the lost city. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It’s all right for the locals. It’s all right for everyone, really. Okay. It’s a local place for local people. Yeah. Okay, mate. You heard it there, folks. The Lost City is a local place for local people. Hopefully, they take Wendellin as one of their own. Don’t break the speed limit, mate. You know what? I could walk faster than you. I’ll run faster than you down there on the left hand side down there. That’s the lost city. What’s Typton like in general anyway? Absolutely brilliant. Yeah. Born and bred. Born and bred around here. Yeah. It’s got a reputation of being a rough area, but the people are the most friendly people you could ever meet. Absolutely brilliant. Yeah. I’m born and bred. I’m 54 and I born and b around here and I live never leave this area. Proper people in it. Yeah. I’ve never seen before in my life a housing estate in Britain where there are horses on the park in the middle of rubbish grazing away. You ever seen anything like that? Welcome to the lost city. This is the uh park for the area. Another pony there and a lot of fly tipping. What a unique place. I was videoing the horse. Would you chat to me about the area? That’s also the first time that I’ve just walked down the street and spoken to the camera. Obviously, when I speak to the camera, there are houses behind me. Some guy’s watching out of his house. I was only outside of his house for like 5 or 10 seconds and he’s run out of his house to say, “Why are you filming my house?” which tells you a little bit about the sense of paranoia of maybe outside people with cameras wandering around here. It is a very unique place. Let’s explore more. I think the name Lost City is very apt for this area. I think wandering around the lost city in the day is probably very different to wandering around at night. Imagine wandering around this desolate park at night. More fly tipping. Anything can happen, but it usually doesn’t. What more can I say? It’s got like it’s got a reputation from the ‘9s as being like a really rough place. There’s some fairly straight characters there. Yeah. But it’s usually all right. It’s usually all right. Yeah. It’s a great place. I’ve got some good friends who live there. I say it’s worse now that it’s ever been and I’ve lived on here all my life and I’m 55. Why’ you say that? because of the because the delinquents while I’m coming off different estates coming on here thinking they can run the estate and chase things around doing it wrong. All crime and whatnot bringing all different crime around the area. It’s totally different. You got cars blasting through the estate thinking it’s a [ __ ] racetrack. Yeah. And the kids don’t even live on this estate. All right. So, before we continue, I need to tell you about Wondershare Fil Mora 14. I’m a simple man and I like an easy to use video editor. So you’re saying that like years ago maybe when the one road in one road out it was it was more like community. Back in the day back in the day people around here was close-knit. Yeah. If people started thrashing cars around here the way they do these young ones are doing these days, they get pulled over and they they get they get told if they if they listen the first time, they’d have a [ __ ] slap with it. Yeah. And they wouldn’t race around when there’s kids running around and stuff. They all that [ __ ] never used to happen. kids are the trouble with the today’s age this with this you this generation what’s [ __ ] it up is I’ve always said it when I was a kid I was a school it they bought it in you call discipline the kids y right if they discipline the kids the phone child oh so therefore kids they they get corrected so what do we do with the kids oh we’ll buy them a [ __ ] Xbox or the PlayStation chuck them in the bedroom go on keep them out out off the streets Keep them off. Keep them out of theirs. Keep them out of our business. They moaning with them on the games and they’re playing [ __ ] Grand Theft Auto and [ __ ] COD and all the rest of it. And they think, “Oh, I can go out on the street. I can take a car off there with this knife and nothing’s going to [ __ ] because I’ve been playing Grand Theft Auto. I’m going to stab him and [ __ ] all’s going to happen.” Which is right because what do the police do? [ __ ] all. They get him in and release him. Yeah. No, all I got to say is no comment, which is what they’re showing them on the telly. And it’s all down to government and people putting them in a [ __ ] room with a [ __ ] Xbox. I call it the Xbox and PlayStation. Lack of community values. Not enough funding for the cops. Yeah, you mate. It’s making their lives easier by by shutting them away and letting them play them [ __ ] games. It’s such a shame cuz you can see the community spirit in the people. But yeah, I’ve never had a [ __ ] PlayStation. Like he’s been on here all his life. I’ve been on here all my life. Yeah, man. So, you got to you got to learn how to respect other people’s things. Yeah. And but when they’ve been playing on games all the life, they don’t care, mate. Yeah. They think what they do on that game, they can come out and do it in real life. Yeah. It’s like the community values have eroded over time in it. And yeah, you can’t you just can’t do it, but they got no respect because as I said, what can you do? Yeah. You found the police. What can they do? These days now they do nothing. There’s no thick ears anymore, is it? But I was a kid if you if you have played your math or even looked at a copper run, you get a smack of the ear and take you to Yeah. Well, kids don’t respect cops anymore. They’re laughing at them. There’s no respect out there, mate. Cuz now I can’t do the car when they see. Well, at least I’ve met some nice people anyway. So, yeah, you will. You’ll meet some good people on here. I have. Yeah. You won’t. You’ll meet some real good dad people on here. Really good people. Live all way long here. Look out for each. We’ve been like it. We’ve been like it all our life since we been kids. I lived I’ve lived here and before I lived by the park. Would you ever move off the estate? No. Yeah. No, but like like years ago now like when you used to go out, you could like leave your front door wide open, go shopping all day long, come back, nothing’s touched. Yeah. But now when you go out, you got to make sure you got to make sure your front door’s locked and everything. A cup of sugar and all you call that easy. No, you can’t do that either. You just shot out the fence until the next day. Yeah. No chance around here. You can make sure everything’s locking at you. You don’t know who your name when the pub was here like in the 80s and that like 60s and 70s. She scared to come on there. Was I was scared to come on here? 60s and 70s was so what would have happened with me and my camera if I’d have walked around and busted that up and kids would off and probably kick your ass and beat you up or something take it off you everybody looks out for everybody. Yeah, especially the original original families like cuz there’s only like so many families on here at one point. No one here now Indians. It’s integrated. So it’s multicultural. Things changed and the world’s changed. At the end of the day, we all got to live. Yeah. We all bleed. We all need We all need food. With how everything’s changed, the world’s changed in it. Borders aren’t what they were. That’s a that’s a different thing to talk about. I just hope that people keep looking after each other. That’s the main thing, sir. Look after each other. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Look after yourself. Take it easy. Thank you for talking to me. Good luck with that, folks. You can see there the warm welcome of the people of Tipton and the Lost City Estate. Proper down to earth people. A place with a rough reputation. But I knew when I came here that I’d find some absolute legends, people with good hearts, a good sense of community, and that want to look after each other. And I’m glad I found it and been able to show it. All right. Nice place. Nice place. Yeah. Like good community spirit. And everybody gets on with everybody. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz um like I I remember in the ‘ 90s it had a reputation of being like quite a rough estate. But has it improved a bit? Yeah. when that p was up. But since the p been knocked down, it’s been better. Right, I’ve got to the bottom of why the horses are here on the common or the park or whatever you want to call it. And I’ve got to be careful about what I say. Some local people told me I understand why they don’t want to be on camera, but let’s just say it’s not the locals. It’s uh people that move around quite a bit that have put those horses there. And if I think about it more, like it’s it’s pretty cruel that they’re there chained up on the common on the park and there’s no water near them and I don’t know. I don’t keep horses, but it doesn’t seem quite right to me. But anyway, I just don’t want the local people, the good local people to be tarnished with the idea of keeping horses cruy here in the lost city because that is not the case. That’s all I’ll say on the matter, but I’m sure you can read between the lines and understand what I’m saying. So, there you go. The lost city certainly not as rough and dangerous as it used to be maybe in the ’90s. They’re a bit suspicious of outsiders with cameras. Who blames them? And it’s a place where wild horses roam. Maybe not free, but they roam. It’s a unique place. Bit of a strange place. Anyway, onwards and into central Tipton. There’s probably more people knocking around there. The Black Country is synonymous with boozers, great pubs, incredible pub culture in this area. Well, as with all parts of Britain, the pubs are closing left, right, and center. And you can see here, if I show you around the corner, this was the Victoria Pub, but now it’s been taken over by a hair salon and a Chinese takeaway. But we’re going to check out one of the iconic remaining pubs, and that’s the Tilted Barrel. And it’s a very unique pub. So, I’m going to go there, have a black country pint, and hopefully work up an appetite to try some black country country foder. Those of you who know the area, you’ll probably know that Maddo Rocks Pie Factory is the most iconic pub in the area. But, I’ve already filmed in there. I took Danny from Onest Places in there for a pie and a pint maybe 6 months ago. So, we’re going to skip that and go to the Tilted Barrel. But, this was an area that offered much work for the local people. coal mining, steel works, glass factories, lock factories, the list goes on. These days, now the industry’s left a tale of modern Britain. There’s a lot of unemployment in the area. Hence why it is an area that, let’s not beat a bear in the bush. It is down on its heels. But there’s a sense of pride in the local people in the Black Country that their area played such an important role in the forging of the nation. It’s not looking promising at the tilted barrel, folks. I’m going to try and not get run over. Behold the tilted barrel. My camera is level, but the pub ain’t. It’s subsided on the left side. It’s quite a famous pub in the area. Let’s see if it’s open and see if we can get a point. But it does look a bit rough around the edges. So, how long have you guys owned the pub? Uh, it’s like one one year. Yeah. One year. Yeah. And you bought it at auction? Yeah. Yeah. So, did you get a bargain? Huh? You got a bargain. Good price. Yeah, it was good price. Yeah. And what’s the type of trade? You serve food in here? All Indian spices. Food. Proper Indian food. Punjabi food. Yeah. But you’re still a pub as well. You still welcome people for drinks. Yeah. You can come in and you don’t have to eat food. You can still have a beer. Yeah. Anything. Anything. Anything. All money is good when you’ve just bought a pub. Yeah. Yeah. See, good prices. Yeah. Very cheap. Yeah. Yeah. Too cheap. Too cheap. Too much. As you can see, the car is just £3, not 315. We just dropped at 15 p more. It’s like only 3. Yeah. Very cheap. Yeah. And the food 750 for the chef special. So, basically, you can eat here and have a beer for a tenner. Yeah. Amazing, mate. You got good locals as well. No trouble. No fighting. We have regular customer here. Yeah. Yeah. All the customers are very good. Very calm as well. Okay. That’s good. Yeah. Well, a lot of pubs in Britain now are struggling to stay open because things have changed. So, I think sometimes I think it’s a good idea to put Indian restaurants in pubs because everybody loves Indian food and it keeps pubs open. You know, it’s a good food offering and everybody wants a curry after a beer, don’t they? So, yeah. I’ll be honest with you, when when I came to find the Tilted Barrel, I didn’t expect it to have an Indian restaurant in it as well. So, that’s a unique take on such an old traditional pub. Cheers, mate. I appreciate it. Anyway, yeah. And your cobra is good. Just a half cuz uh it’s a working day. 1820. There you go. It’s not an illusion. This pub is on the piss. You want to try a naan? It’s a special na here. If you want to try it, you can make video for it. Okay, mate. Yeah, I’ll give it a review. Yeah, thank you. Yeah, a special naan. Yeah, it’s a special na we just used to make here only here this place. Okay. Yeah, it’s very famous as well. You will eat. You will love it. It’s It’s bit spicy. Yeah, I can handle that. Yeah, I love Indian food, mate. Yeah, I can’t talk about the food and talk about your operation here and not try it, sir. Have a seat. I will give you the special naan here. Good man. Special naan. The special naan. What’s in the special naan? Cheese, some garlic, some coriander, and some masalas. Ka ka? Okay. Meet you chicken. The whole kitchen in one. That looks amazing. Yeah. Yeah. Brown sauce. I see. Amazing. Yeah, that’s um really fresh. Na. It’s not It’s not too spicy. Not too spicy, but it’s coming. Yeah. I just make this make for you. Not too spicy. Yeah, it’s good. That’s a good naan. Well stuffed. You say she’s the chef. You’re the chef. Yeah. Yeah. You’re the famous chef. Famous chef. Nice. Is this your creation? Yeah. The special naan. Yeah. Tilted barrel special naan. Yeah. Yeah. This is the famous thing. The special naan. How much is this if you buy it? Uh, how much is for this? Tilted barrel special na. 44 £4 for that. It’s only4. That’s the cheapest food in Tipton. Yeah. Cheapest good food in Tipton. Yeah, exactly. Oh, it’s amazing. I’m going to get stuck in sauce. What sauce do you do? Uh, mint sauce, chili sauce, mango sauce. Mint sauce would be amazing. It would cool cool down the spice. Yeah. Yeah. That’s class, mate. I appreciate that. Thank you very much. Thank you. Genuinely, I’m not just saying that because the staff are here. That’s a tasty na. I’ll show you the inside in a sec. I’ve got some of this mint sauce to cool down. Thank you. Thank you. Kind hospitality. Thank you. Everybody likes that neon green mint sauce. Going to cool it down a bit. So inside the naan, yeah, you’ve got the ka meat, coriander, cheese, it is spicy, but Wendell can handle his spice. The mint sauce, the cooling mint sauce is the perfect accompaniment. I didn’t think when I was going for a feed in the Black Country today, I didn’t think I’d be eating a giant sized Indian naan in one of the most traditional pubs here. Now I’m a couple of slices in. This special naan is amazing. It is so flavorful, so balanced. The sauce really helps as well cool it down cuz it’s quite spicy. And four quid. It’s literally4 quid. You wouldn’t eat again. 4. You’d eat half of it, take the other half home, you’d be fed for the day. Really tasty, really fresh, really kind people. What a surprise. When I walked up to the pub, looks a bit rough from the outside. I’ve come in. It’s the warmest welcome. A YouTuber could ever hope for coming into a pub. I told you the Black Country’s class. Might be a bit rundown, but some of the best people you’ll find anywhere. I’m going to enjoy my special N. What do I owe you? See you soon, bro. Yeah, I got to pay you. No, no, no. On the house. No, it’s fine. It’s from amazing hospitality. You’re a very good chef. Next time. Yeah. Yeah. Next time I bring the whole family. Yeah. Sure. Sure. I will for you. This is a hidden gem. More people need to know about it. So, I’ll make sure people know. Things are looking up. It looked like a rough boozer from the outside with its smashed windows and slightly non-custo. What a find. More people need to know about that place and hopefully now will right now over yonder as I close out this video across the Dudley Canal is the Black Country Museum. Now I’ve already preempted with this outro that some of you Black Country enthusiasts that know the area, you’ll have already commented, Wendell, why didn’t you film in the Black Country Museum? Cuz it’s a brilliant museum. Well, indeed I plan to, folks. But despite the fact it’s brilliant, I thoroughly recommend it. I needed to get press approval and permission to film my YouTube video in there. And ain’t nobody got time for that, so it didn’t happen. But if you do have the time and you’re in the area, folks, if this video has made you interested in the Black Country, but you’ll probably learn far more about this wonderful area than I showed you in my video. So, pay it a visit. I’ve had a great day out, folks. I really enjoy filming this part of the country. As I’ve said, I think the people are brilliant. I think we’ve shown in the Lost City the true spirit of the Black Country with a few people I spoke to there. And I just hope that that culture, that sense of community, that unique identity doesn’t get eroded over time because Britain and the world is changing and communities are changing. But nevertheless, I think it’s a underappreciated part of England and I’m glad I made a video about it and hopefully it enthuses a little interest in the area cuz I tell you what folks, it ain’t off round here.

  1. People want a better life but won't try and make it better, I live in Tipton and luckily I live in a nice area, thats because we all work and look at the estate and clean it as we go along….

  2. Guy was spot on cheek the copper get slapped round the ear took to yer dad n he slapped yer round the ear made you think twice next time 😂😂

  3. Thanks for making this video Wendall. You were very kind about the Black Country and its history. I am 61 now and born & bred in Wolverhampton. Tears fill my eyes when I see what the town has now become ( no true Yam Yam calls it a city, it never even wanted to be one ) . In my lifetime I have seen the once fabulous proud industrial towns of Bilston, Dudley, Willenhall, Walsall, Tipton etc all shrivel and die through successive governments destruction of British industries and leave the people who worked in those industries to try and scratch a living as best they could. Tens of thousands of genuinely hard working men and women, factory folk who were the engine room of Britain let down so badly.
The towns will never return to their former glory, never again will you see an amazing and elegant department store like Beaties re emerge as it is now left to decay into a ruin by Wolverhampton council. But I hope with all my heart the spirit of the Black Country community will live on as a tribute to all those who helped build it.

I used to frequent places like the molineux stadium on a Wednesday night for the rock night Slackers, the city bar, the little civic.. There was so much going on back then. Great memories!

  14. Tipton’s great. I’m from tividale up the road. It’s rough round the edges. The litter about is terrible. I feel safe round Tipton. Canals are great for the bikes. Years ago you could tell all the houses that were owned by every house had new windows that were council. Tipton is its own people. Horses scramblers on the roads.

  15. Now you see why all the homeless hate Charlie Veitch and sometimes billy Moore(when he gives cash to fiends for a fix) most of their subs are straight up doll dossing bums 😂 all Charlie does is put down addicts etc but yet makes most of his money from them! 😂

    I do like wendall though.
Cheers for showing us how to watch "adult content" 😂
    That had me in stitches.

Wendall and bling lifestyle are the ones to watch.
