Pedals got cleaned out, new bearings & fresh grease. I believe these are "Pista" style pedals, and they have titanium spindles!
I'm restoring a Mondonico from '92 or '93. Trying to keep it as original and period correct as possible. Breaking out all the old Campagnolo bits I can find for this particular project. Even found an old tub of (pretty fresh) Campagnolo Special Grease for just one more little touch.
The late previous owner was the owner of a bike shop for years, so he had all the right tools, parts & tricks for a proper steel Italian race bike. I found (what I'm 99% sure is) Campagnolo Special Grease in all the bearings when I tore it all down. I know it doesn't matter and that there are better options out there now, but I had the grease, so why not?
