My solo motorcycle journey from Ukraine to England begins in Kyiv.
On the first day, I ride through familiar Ukrainian landscapes, cross the border into Poland, and unexpectedly end up in Lublin. It’s just me, the bike, and the open road — the true freedom of motorcycle travel.

Along the way, I stop at gas stations for fuel and coffee, face the challenges of the border crossing, and let the road surprise me with unplanned adventures. This is only the beginning of my long-distance motorcycle ride across Europe.

If you love motorcycle touring, solo travel, and stories about life on two wheels — join me on this adventure. The road is just starting!

Yes, it’s me. And yes, after a
serious injury and rehabilitation, I realized that what I truly want is
to travel by motorcycle. And my first long solo journey on a bike will be from
Ukraine to England. Welcome to the channel. My journey from Ukraine to England began in
Kyiv. I set off on my motorcycle — just me, the road, and endless kilometers ahead.
In these moments you feel real freedom: The road from Kyiv stretches through
familiar landscapes: golden fields, villages where time moves slower than in
the capital, and highways that lead further west. A motorcycle doesn’t let you stay
detached — you feel every breath of wind, every shift in the weather. It’s not just a
trip, it’s a constant dialogue with the road I stop at gas stations: to let the bike
rest, to refuel, to stretch my back and grab a coffee. These little rituals become special
when you’re traveling alone. A hot cup of coffee in a plastic cup feels like pure energy. A
moment of silence — and then, forward again. Crossing the border between Ukraine and
Poland took about an hour and a half. It felt longer than usual. Around me,
people were on their own journeys: some rushing on business, some
returning home, others, like me, searching for new roads. When I finally
crossed the border, there was this feeling that the journey had truly begun. Ahead lay
different roads, another language, a new rhythm. But the road comes with surprises. My navigator
decided to play a trick: instead of taking me to my planned stop, it led me completely off track.
Instead of a short ride, I had to keep going further and further — until I reached Lublin.
At first it seemed like a mistake, but in the end it turned out to be interesting: I discovered
a city I hadn’t planned to visit that night. This was only the first day of my
journey. There are still many roads, cities, and encounters ahead. But this very
first stretch — from Kyiv to Lublin — will stay in my memory as something special. Because
it was the true beginning of a great adventure, one that will take me across half of Europe
And the road goes on
