As the title says, I am kinda stuck about which one to choose between Trek FX2 Gen 3 and Giant Escape 2 disc as my regular commuter bike. The commute is around 5 miles each way, mostly flat, on paved roads. I test-rode both the bikes. Both were smooth experiences except the trek's saddle felt a bit more on the stiffer side, not sure if one gets used to with regular use.
Planning to pickup from local bike shop to get the 1 year servicing . Does that really matter?
