[Music] Mo Hotel Adventures. Bonjour, France. We must be the first fast first first fastest turnaround in history. We’ve actually rocked up, got our gear on, but the sun’s out as well. I’m I’m sort of like I said to Caroline, I’m going to leave the jacket off for a minute. Uh it did look a bit cooler this morning, but I’m gonna um go for it. Brave it. So, uh let’s hit the trail. Right. Nice drinks. Oh, we have to return for the uh the drinks. Forgot the drinks. But hey ho. So, there we go. Straight out onto the the trail. Well, the trail, the cycle route. [Applause] Bit of a wire issue. So, someone’s caught the post. All the wires are down really low. So, I just come out to this place, Buzz, and there’s like an old abbey building that I just want to have a quick look at. [Music] So, it doesn’t look like we could access the old abbey, but um hello. Oh, lovely color buildings over there. Look, over the river and up to the the lock up this way. Here we go. Look, this is looking nice down here. Straight into one of the lovely locks. Keeper’s cottage. We’re actually back on the route. Here’s the sign. Na is 24 kilometers. And that’s heading out onto the Lir River. The estie heading up to Na. A really peaceful spot for a bit of fishing on the side of the water. Oh, with your camping car [Music] [Music] thing, actually a stone throw from the Lir just over that lock. A little station building. Look at this little reverb. Look at this. The smoke going out the chimney. [Music] Here we go. Then we’re on the edge. of the mighty Lar Estie. Look at that. That [Music] Heat. Hey, heat. Hey, heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] like canopy right over the tractor and everything. Look. So beautiful. Oh, great. Is it lovely? Beautiful. That is Wow. That is fantastic. It’s lovely little chimney. You have it would have been more sign that um bendy boat on there. So, it must be bit of a like an attraction or something. I don’t know what it is. We’ll have to try and find out about that one. Right. We’re just checking out the little um barn over there. There’s a toilet there. There’s a lovely little park up here. Here we go then. Right, we’re uh following me. This is the Vadoi route. Real old school buildings down here. So quiet. [Music] [Music] Ah, looks like we have a spectator. That’s all right, buddy. You ch down there. Don’t you worry about us. breaking out into a bit of a I think that’s a droid dock over there, but there’s a little bit of an industrial kind of area sat right on the lower. Very, very nice. Looks like a bit of a poor area. It looks like there’s a little ferry transporter here. Wow. Nice. What location? Just up there is a lovely church and there’s a lovely lighthouse. I’ll try and get a shot of it. [Music] [Music] [Music] So we go from tarmac to gravel through the trees weaving through ward gardens the wall river on the left. [Music] [Music] Just gone past some kind of shadow place down there and it’s got a big massive pond in front of it. It’s looking lovely. Wow, what a place. Beautiful. Weaving on down through [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] The dragon made it a mesh. World mesh. Look at that. The place still a dragon. [Music] [Laughter] So, right opposite the camper park that we saw on the way through. Caroline’s just having a little breather and uh I spotted this lot machinery. So, I’ve got to just have a little wander in have a look and see what’s going on. Look at this place. Wow. This [Music] Oh, yes. Some great pieces in here. 1891. The flyway on it. It’s all about the um the locks on the cow. Loads and loads of information. So many displays, all this uh pictures, the old boats. It’s incredible. So, uh yeah, we’re out over this. Oh, there we are. There. That’s where we are. And we’re at Rowan’s staying. And uh we we went up to the um Sanair Bridge and the the Serpent. Let’s go back up. Look at the museum. Got some great great pieces in here. Great pieces of iron. Big connecting rods, big brass bushes, big kind of engines. Look at these. Look at this. Um in a bottle. Little boat in a bottle. Na stuff. Absolutely loaded with Valentine history. Another little room in here. Great little bit. Also the um the furnaces. Look at that. Wow. The doors. The doors. Cobwebs and bars. All the old pliers I used for stoing up. Look at that. 18 1891. Beautiful. What building? Great find a building inside. gears. Right, I think we’re uh moving on. So, another thing we actually missed on the way down through and uh it just shows you all the all the gears in here for the the locks, the lock gates. Look at that. They’re getting a bit rusty now. Hello. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Beautiful. [Music] There’s the there’s the uh huge old lock gate and all that kind of 1891 look. So there’s a lot of the parts are in that museum. There massive gears. Look at them gears in there. Oh, and the chains pulling the chains for the gates. Wow, look at that. and big sort of pinion gears. Pretty incredible. I think they’re the little flaps for like oiling maybe. Let’s just have a little look. See if it still open. This does. It still opens. That’s a little oiler. Look at that. That is lots of years old. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Music] So, we just got to the colored houses and there’s a cycle path going to ruins which we missed earlier. earlier on and I think uh maybe on the way back we can grab it. There’s all these like lovely little curve cottages on the side of the river. We sort of took the uh took the plunge and it looked a bit sort of uh are we on the right one? I think we are. I was going to ferry on through. Right. Bit of rough track, but uh we’re back on the little kind of lane. I think bit of route navigation. I think we’re closing in on the air. 5 minutes the whole ride. And I’ve just realized I got me uh me leggings on back to front. And I got a lot of padding around the front. Crazy. Oh, just this minute. I’m like, “Oh, I just didn’t notice all the way around.” Cameron’s like, “I think I did notice earlier on, but you couldn’t really change him.” Here we are then. Back at the camper park. Jo’s going to try it again. Oh, squeeze. We can do it today. That’s all right. We squeezed it. Got to go back. What? What’s Caroline? Look at the size of these coners. Oh, man. That’s nice. Look at that. Oh, he’s a beauty. Massive. Criy cracker. That is littered with them. Littered with them. There you go. Look. Fair enough. Oh, he’s been squatted. push your um button and see how many miles we did to the entrance of the camping car park. Oh, let’s have a look. Uh 17.64. And that is a hills as well. 2 hours 4. Yeah, fair enough. Let’s get in there. Yeah, get hungry. Let’s negotiate. Let’s see if I can negotiate this evenly. Oh, yeah. It’s a little bit better. Oh, a little bit of a little bit of a squeeze, but we’re through. Back. Go then. We’re back. on the park up. Wow, fantastic. Great ride. Moel adventures. Bonjour France. Wee wee. [Music]
