Вообще по Эстонии мы написали около двадцати путешественникам и 16 из них готовы были приютить на ночлег! К сожалению ко всем мы заехать даже не успели… Проехав на великах практически всю Европу, на втором месте по ответам на насечку, у меня Италия, где положительный ответ у половины хозяев ночлега. И где-то треть дают переночевать в Австрии, Швейцарии, Франции, Германии, Бельгии и Голландии.
A Japanese woman’s bike trip around Estonia – 5. After Narva, we reached Tartu, an important cultural and intellectual center of the country, where the Treaty of Tartu with the USSR was signed in 1920. Here, we were very kindly hosted by an Estonian cyclist, Rene, from the cycling website Warmshauers. He treated us to all sorts of local delicacies for dinner and breakfast, which are sold only at farmers’ markets. In total, we wrote to about twenty travelers throughout Estonia, and 16 of them were willing to accommodate us for the night! Unfortunately, we didn’t even have time to visit all of them… Having cycled almost all of Europe, Italy ranks second in terms of responses to my survey, with half of the hosts offering accommodations there responding positively. And about a third of those offering accommodations in Austria, Switzerland, France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. At the market, we bought hot-smoked bream from the Mama River, which flows through the city center and then into Lake Peipsi. Estonians are very offended when it’s called Lake Peipus. A bike trip through Estonia, Tartu
